Seems after 2 days of running this card is when I start having issues with it. Runs perfectly for 2 days than on the 3rd day is when I start seeing things locking up my system and can't play any games anymore and I have no idea what the cause is. I emailed ATI tech support and they gave me some info but that doesn't appear to work at all so no im stuck with a 500 dollar card I can't use :S. Have the latest catalyst drivers installed so I have no idea whats wrong so im just tempted to buy a new machine with a bigger PSU than this one.

Could it be just power issues im having?

422watt with 18amp power supply running 1 hdd and 2 dvd drives only.

I do not think it is your power supply but just in case, what brand is it?.

So, if you reboot can you run for 2 days then have to reboot again? Thats not so bad if you can shut off your machine ovenight when you are not using it. Sounds like a memory leak. Have you checked for spyware?

Also, your CPU is a little bit of a bottleneck for that vid card.

have no idea what make it is. Says MJ on it but not sure if that is the name or not but it is in big lettering. lol

But no if I reboot and log back into windows it just does the same thing and if I leave it on longer and longer than it starts locking up more than when I leave it to long sometimes I can't even get into windows anymore as it just locks the system right up.

I would definitely try a repair or format before giving up on your rig.

Yeah I already tried a format. Even got a new hard drive to see if it was just the hard drive messing with me but that doesn't seem to be the problem. I honestly think its more of a power issue than anything really as I can't see it being anything else.

    18A on what rail?

is that 2500+ a mobile barton-core? if so, those things overclock like mofos, kick it up to at least 2.3ghz. right now got mine runnin at 215*11.5 that should open up the bottleneck a good bit
