Ubisoft is NOT working on a fix.
The problem is probably on your side.
Try plugging in your internet cable directly from your modem, without a router.
That sometimes fixes it. if it does, its your router. if not, well you might be screwed if you tried all other fixes. i would contact steam and/or ubisoft and demand a refund.
Someone may have already posted it, but I found a much easier way around this than the ones I read. Just go to www.ubi.com and register an account there. Then go back into R.U.S.E. and log in without ever having to go through the sign up process in-game.
Its not on our end. If Ubisoft isn't working on a fix, I want my money back from THEM. Its not just steam users with this problem.Originally posted by robbinx730:

If you are still having issues connecting - please make sure you are contacting Ubisoft support.
They will be able to troubleshoot your connection, as well as helping you with any ports that need opening.
Links to support are available via www.ubi.com or by using the links in my signature.
I had to reply cause I had the same problem.
The fix is simple: I logged into my STEAM account but from another computer which also have R.U.S.E. inside STEAM. This computer let me communicate with ubi.com, I logged in and the game work finally. And now of course the game working on my computer also without even ubi.com asking me to login. Works just fine as it should be.
So the FIX is: find a friend with R.U.S.E. on STEAM account and login on his/her computer into your STEAM account. Start R.U.S.E. and when prompted login or create new UBI account. After that you'll be able to start the game on your computer without problems in connecting to ubi.com. Will be automaticly logged in every time from then on.
Yeah, you're right, but many people got problem even with registering inside the game. Same message appears like for login. So it doesnt matter if you got ubi account or not. I posted possible solution for STEAM users who has the same problem cause the problem IS ON USER SIDE not on ubi side. But its fixable. Worked for me. Find my post if youre playing RUSE thru STEAM.Originally Posted by Fingerz318 Go to original post
