They have a fix? Yea right, Every game I own with Steam has worked fine with my Universities Firewall, and now R.U.S.E. happens to be the one game based on STEAM that doesn't work at all... I am extremely disappointed, that Ubisoft's form of a fix is blaming the issue on the consumer.

    he guys,
    i just follewed this instruction

    quote:
    Zitat von freigeist22:
    was bei mir gefunzt hat.

1)in steam alle inhalte von ruse (releaseversion/ beta / demo) löschen.
    2)steam beenden

    this is
    1. delete all ruse files (retail, demo, beta etc.) within steam
    2.close steam
    3. delete all steam files and folders
4.open regedit, go to local machine. look 4 ubisoft, delete entries 4 ruse.
    5.reinstall ruse

    on your own risk!

    i wish u luck, like i had.

Hey everyone, I'm back. So far I've tried everything that's been listed so far. All of the required ports are open. I've tried reinstalling Ruse, reinstalling Steam THEN Ruse. Tried playing under an Administrator account...Nothing has worked. I'm at a loss at the moment. By what I've read on the forums, Ruse has turned out to be a phenomenal game and has only fueled my will to get it to work. xD So, if any support could help me out, that'd be great.
