If your serious about your flying and want to do it with a great bunch of guys, then check out our website.
We train hard, always have an ear open for suggestions and try to tie it all together on mission nite.
If your looking for the whole experience, training..recon..navigation..intel..mission briefings pre and post, then take a minute and come over to www.airgroup51.com and take a peek.
If you have any questions you can email me at Mechy at airgroup51 dot com.

I joined AG-51 not quite 2 years ago after fighting them for 3 years. A great bunch of guys who are now some of my best friends.
I would add that: though we are professional when it comes down to business, a healthy sense of humor is a definate must!

Don't forget to tell them about the hats and T-shirts we have for sale Dart. I'm still sitting on a bunch that need to be sold. LOL
If it's immersion and realism you're after, then please give us a look. If you're not into cockpits, or like having icons on, or can't get back home without the minimap path enabled, then maybe we're not what you're looking for in a squad. But if those things are what turn you on in this sim, and you like the idea of flying off of a carrier, then by all means, give us a shot!
We're in need of a few good gunslingers who know how to work with a wingman and understand the value of team work.

Are you guys mainly a Hellcat squadron or do you fly Wildcats and Corsairs as well?

~S~ G.Blade No we are not strictly a Hellcat squadron. We are flying the Hellcat presently because it seems to fit our needs in the present campaign. Before this campaign is over, chances are we will have flown them all (Naval Planes).

G.Blade, we will fly anything that's blue and has a hook on it! LOL
What Mechy said is right, for this particular campaign we're involved with right now. It's taking place on the Okinawa map circa 1945. We have, in the past, flown Wildcats and Dauntlesses against A6M2-21's and Vals on the Guadalcanal map, and we've spent a fair amount of time flying the Corsair. So, to be quite honest, we are not dedicated to a single type of plane, rather to the best plane for the mission at the time.
The Squadron (Air Group actually) we're based on flew TBF's and F6Fs exclusively, off the CVL San Jacinto, but we have the luxury of being a bit more flexible.
