I am Anne-Marie. I am also known as Spectra from the Frag Dolls. I am a new mom. I play tons of video games, my favorite being stealth action and first person shooters. I am looking to slim down after pregnancy and I'm hoping YS:FE can help. This will be the first time I have ever followed a fitness plan.
My husband, Rigney is a camera man who works in the film industry. He also is an avid gamer. He is looking to find a way stay fit despite his busy schedule.
Can a video game really get you into shape and supplement a traditional work out regimen? That's exactly what we are going to find out.
I thought I would start a thread that I can update when we have new blogs posted. That way if any of you have comments, feedback or questions for us, we can answer them here.

My diet has not changed that much. I have tried to cut back on sugar like skipping dessert and no candy. I have been reading ingredients and looking for natural foods. I am breast feeding so I can't "diet" just yet but I am eating healthy.Originally posted by kimi_:
Wow Anne-Marie, 8 pounds! Great job!
Was this from YS:FE alone, or also a change in diet?

This week it's all me and my favorite workouts. And check out my beast loop-a-hoop score. Both Rigney and I tried three or four different times in a row to unlock the achievement for my video. We were so tired. It was a lot harder than we expected. We were laughing so hard trying to get it. Finally, I gave it one last try and blew it out of the water!! But I was feeling loop-a-hoop for a few days after that.

This may be our last video until next year.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
Our first video and blog of 2011 is up.
Evolving Together - Part 6
Here how we fell off the wagon over the holidays and how we plan to get back on track.
Watched the latest post, and I can tell you're both feeling a little chagrined by your holiday break.
In a way, this is where it's great that you've been publicly posting your progress, because that adds a lot of pressure to get BACK "on the wagon"... a lot of others just give up at this point.
Look forward to seeing how you get back into it.
We want people to know that what we are doing is real. Sometimes when you don't workout, you feel guilty or like you failed yourself. I am sure other people feel the same way. It would be wrong of us to pretend that we are super human in our videos or that it's easy to do what we are doing. Loosing weight and getting in shape is a lot of work.Originally posted by bchandler:

It would be very easy to stop working out. Non-action is always an option. But every time I look in the mirror I see how far I've come and how much further I have to go. It's very motivating.
I wish it was happening faster but I know the slower I take the weight off the longer it will stay off.
Thanks for your comment. It's nice to know someone watched a video.![]()
