that wasnt the stig, you have to be prety specail not to realise he was alot skinnier than the stig and the fact the helmet and collar of the jup suit didnt actualy meet. now at the end in the funny lap that was the real stig.

they are just playing on it since people now know the stig is actualy james bonds stunt man.

MrRandom004, I don't think Cas was taking anything away from your post, really. He was just posting his opinion.

At the end of the day, who's to say if Schumacher is the Stig or not? Twas a great viewing figures ploy by Top Gear either way - My wife actually gave in and let me watch it on the big telly

all the reporters who turned up on a track as the local radio station pointed out the stig was on it, allowing them to all catch the fact it is bonds stunt double

most of them chose not to publish it after the last stig was killed due to his identity being uncoverd, but several internet news sites and some of the papers decided to publish who it was anyway and after the info was released they all just confirmed it. aparently sevral of the main papers already knew his identity but were holding off as they didnt want to put the bloke out of a job.

this publicity stunt was done to make people think is it him, to try to make people forget/confused about who it actualy is rather than have to replace him again.
