Assassin's Creed: Origins - Low FPS on a gaming laptop

    Hello,

I purchased 'Origins' a couple of days ago and I've been trying to fix this issue since.

I'm getting low FPS to the point of unplayability.
    I can't play.

I'm pretty sure I should be able to run this game smoothly, though I tried lowering the graphics to the minimum.
I've been searching the forums, and I've tried everything on there.
My drivers are all updated and have been reinstalled.
I tweaked settings in the Nvidia Control Panel specifically for this game, but nothing works.

    Please help!

    Hey, oronmoz!

Thank you for reaching out about your issue with low FPS on Assassins Creed Origins. Thank you for the troubleshooting that you have done and for providing your system specs.

I understand you have already done some troubleshooting but can we ask have you done everything here?

Can we also ask, do you have the game installed on an internal drive or an external one? Is it an HDD or an SSD?

Thank you and we look forward to your reply.
