    Developer Update: Tower Trouble

    It’s the last day of February, can you believe it? Welcome, New Kids! It’s me, your Community Lead, Toller, back again with your latest Developer Update!

    Here is the Weekly Timetable





    WEEKLY EVENTS

    Our first event shall start on today and run for two days total. It will be a Mission event centered around the defensive card, Castle Defender! This tower card will kick off a trend you’ll see over the week as we introduce the next line of defense for your battlefields, the Arrow Tower!



    Shower your enemies in arrows from above as you position this new tower where it works best for you! As is tradition, you’ll be given the chance to test this new card out as it will be added to your deck automatically in this week’s Chaos Mode, Tower Defense! All cards that feature attack boosting characters will cost 2 energy points to play, so give this new card a try and be sure to let us know what you think about it!

    Thursday will also feature a small Token Collection Event alongside the chaotic fun, one that will run for just 24 hours.

    That clears the deck for Arrow Tower to take center spotlight for this card’s debut event over the weekend! There will be lots of opportunities for you to gather up copies of this one, so enjoy the hunt! Alongside this newcomer, the following other cards will also be available for use:

    UPCOMING BALANCE CHANGES

    Don’t forget that there will be changes coming to some of our cards tomorrow! If you missed the list last week, have no fear! I’ve got it again this week for you to take a look at:

    Imp Tweek:

    The swapping power has been a fun way to cause shenanigans on the battlefield. However, due to technical limitations, the timing has had to be slow making it less responsive. With the new power, we are allowing the same shenanigans to happen with more responsive results, and less bugs.

    Power now has a range instead of being global.
    Now the Warcry will stun, damage and pull the target towards Imp Tweek instead of swapping places.

    Health: 158 to 200 (27%)
    Attack: 35 to 40 (14%)

    Friar Jimmy:

    As a part of reviewing healers in general, we isolated Friar Jimmy as one of the weaker cards in this bunch. We’ve decided to give him a little push to help with that.

    Heal Per Tick: 4 to 6 (50%)
    Health: 150 to 205 (37%)
    Time Between Attacks: 2.7 to 3 (11%)
    DPS: 11.11 to 10 (-10%)

    Inuit Kenny:

    With Inuit Kenny and Incan Craig, we wanted to shift the focus from New Kid chip damage to dealing damage to enemy units.

    New Kid Power Damage: 100 to 50 (-50%)

    Incan Craig:

    New Kid Power Damage: 32 to 16 (-50%)

    Buffs needed, the legends really need a polish.

    with past buffs and nerfs to intuit, why not buff his attack and health back since you nerfs the stats to justify the past buff, now your nerfing him again.

    also the new wave of legendarys are really lackluster

    goths - too many hard counters. too expensive
    changling - mind control is super hard counter. mind control changling then take over enemy equals a nice 2 for 1 as long as you dont use this bad card.
    s wow tittiybang - its murph with swashbuckler in one to be a super epic. just there to fill in a tank role.
    future randy - another insert tank with a situational effect, that seems to slow .. needs faster animation
    sparky - lets stop attacking and run away to die most of the time. too slow for the effect to matter. we need better abilities for legends then this.

    meanwhile nerfing old legends to make the new legends better shows that past investments in this game is useless since once we invest in the new legends you will just nerf them again.

    mbp needs to be 6 same with scuzzlebutt.. with pope changed to be like call girl, and the range nerfs to mbp ..better aoe attackers out there then this overpriced legend.
    wdt - out ranged a lot and slow. needs bigger effect range.
    6th element - reverse the last nerfs ... summoning another unit like the other randys isnt that much legendary.
    mbc .. needs to move slower. i find i will summon him at the back then he is at the front dying first.

    swashbuckler - i find her taunt is very slow to load. most units will still get in 2 hits before they chase to her.


    remove the rule where you cant have 2 of the same character summoned at the same time.

    Is it so much hard work to have events every day? The game is not engaging. Even the team wars is a dying mode, my barely active team don't even care to play for 3 losses anymore.

    Do you really suggested to make mbc even better ? Maybe think about it a second time… if they touch his speed then they also should tune other stats. Most of the time he is so strong that you need to Insta-kill him, comparable to sizzler. If he moves even slower, then you pretty much run out of options other than kill-spells.

    How about.... NEW BOXES... NEW OUTFITS...HIGHER LEVELS....MORE P.V.E....very simple things that we've been asking for relentlessly. Why did you even make the boxes? You came out with a few of them then gave up. What about the pvp ticket packs we could buy in Cartmans shop? I use to get excited each day to see what was new but now why bother? Come on,throw us some bones.

    "Evolving" the game, really?! The game has been stale for the past 2 years. New cards and stupid nerfs is not evolving the game.

    yes im super bored with the current blah we have now. would rather each theme have a monster powerhouse to excite the game more.
