Performance Drop After Going into Pause Menu ( Video Inside )

This is a problem I have posted about before that was never solved and is still an issue more than a year later. This time I have provided a video of the issue.

    https://youtu.be/FYZMRJvfoig

At the start of the video you'll see that my framerate is between 45 FPS and 55 FPS, then after going into and out of the pause menu without changing any settings you'll see my FPS dip down to an average of 26 FPS. I repeat the process of going in and out of the pause menu and my FPS goes back up. While in the video it only took me a few times pausing and unpausing to "fix" this problem, I sometimes have to spend minutes doing it.

Other things that cause this issue are:
    • During gameplay if there's suddenly a lot going on on-screen, the last time it happened that way was when the fight with the Wraith of Achilles started after returning to Aphrodite with the sea foam.
    • Tabbing in and out of the game

    My system specs are:

    • Ryzen 5 1600 AF
    • GTX 1060 3GB
    • 16 GB RAM
    • Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19042)

    Things I’ve done:

    • Made sure Windows is up to date
    • Made sure video driver is up to date
    • Verified game files
    • Ran as admin
    • Played the game with no other programs running
    • Played the game without my GPU overclock
    • Doing the steps instructed to me by support the last time I posted about this

At this point, I'm really not looking for help solving this issue because I don't think it's something that can be solved on my end, I really just wanted to provide support with a video of the exact issue I'm having and hope that a real fix comes (even though the game is more than a year old).

This problem has really overshadowed my enjoyment of this game.

    Hello YonderPixels,

Thank you for reaching out to us with this.

As this isn't something that has been majorly reported, please be aware our options are limited.

May we please know what in-game graphical settings you're using?

    Thank you!

The settings used at the time of making this video are these, but I've tried all different combinations of settings (mostly display settings: VSync, FPS limit, Window Mode, etc), and the problem still happens.
