    Helix Events

    Hi all.

After playing for a fair while, I have realised that I must be missing something important.

A War in the shadows started yesterday. I played all five grandmaster runs. Used any extra credits to rush another mission. Bought my daily supply of 100 credits and rushed them. Completed the amnimus challange to gain my extra 150 credits and rushed them. Again this morning, rushed all credits that I have plus todays extra 100.

So far I have 857,181 little blue blobs, yet somehow I am ranked 21, behind someone with 2,053,236. My question is, how the heck has he got so many? He can't have got any more credits than me right? Because they populate at the same speed for everyone, and you can only buy 100 per day. So how?

The only time I have a chance of doing well, is when the events are run so many times that all of these guys already have there heroes up, and just simply don't need the credits, so presumably don't bother taking part. Not a problem, but as posted before, I have some heroes that I haven't got enough ccredits for, that are now stuck on rank 3 or 4, because the events no longer happen.

Is this just a case, of someone throwing real money at the game, to win by default?

    Hi Spooky,
that's because you can spare credits from previous events, if you have more than 100 left at the end.
For example, if you have maximum DNA for Altair, Maria and Malik, you needn't waste any HR-tokens in a running Eagle's Shadow event. So if you get the additional 150 tokens from the animus challenge, you can keep them and start with a storage of 250 in the next event.

Cheers for that. Not sure it will get me up to 2 million etc, but certainly worth considering for future events.

Presumably as long as you keep collecting the animus challange tokens, and not using them, it will build up constantly. Cool.

    Ichwarschnellar,

Quick extra question. Your plan has worked. I now have plenty of credits avaialbe for the next event that I care about, but once credits show as 999+, do they still keep getting added (we just can't see the actual number) or do they sit at 999 until used? If that is the case, then there would be no need to keep buying them.
    Cheers.
