Ghost Recon: Tango Uniform
Year: 2023
Setting: South West Afghanistan, bordering Iran & Pakistan
Plot:
Intel surfaces that the Soviets created a secret nuclear bunker in SW Afghanistan during their 1980’s occupation. The Taliban, as well as terror groups associated with Iran & Pakistan are all searching for it. The Ghosts have been called upon to find it first. There is an open world sandbox similar in size to Auroa. The city of Lashkar Gah is divided into thirds, one for each faction, with their outposts radiating out from the city into the countryside. The countryside contains their training facilities, supply depots, and their outposts - as well as small villages. Supply convoys regularly run from their remaining depots to their other facilities and locations - minor liberties create mountainous regions in the NW & SE corners of the map. Random kidnappings will occur, rescuing the victims will engender not only good will, but provide intel to the Ghosts from the locals.
The enemies have munitions, but no drones or helicopters of any kind. They do have CCTV, as well as short range communications, with a long range radio at all larger encampments that can call for backup from 8 man squads that arrive by truck from the nearest outpost [plus random patrols/convoys in the area too]. The Ghosts will have a variety of mechanics to help them counteract these communication channels, but will arise suspicion that will move to alert within an allotted time window. While roaming the map, you will find the three factions fighting each other randomly.
The Ghost Experience is moved forward. Immersive Mode is the “Primary” mode. Gear Score Mode will be released 6-12 months after launch. All World Parameters have a “realistic” and “arcade” option.

- Arcade = Similar to now [Regroup, Stand Down, Clear Hot, Follow]
- Realistic = can also set pathing either by sight, drone pings, or in map
Sandbox world:
• Hunt down intel to find Nuke
- Destabilize regions to take over, capture/kill Lieutenant’s, then Leader
- Each leader has a clue toward the Secret Bunker
• All guns & attachments are unlocked from the start - differences between similarly set up weapons are minor variations in recoil pattern and obviously cosmetic.
- In the “Arcade/Loot” Mode, guns roll similar to Breakpoint [+Acc, +Range, etc] and are found, rather than given to start, beyond the limited “starter” weapons
• All buildings and Roofs are accessible
- populated based on time of day
• Heat System
- Each region builds up heat based on Loudness & Alerts
- Heat meter reduces over time, with inactivity [or unnoticed activity] in the region
- First tier has all faction soldiers on alert in the region
- Second tier calls on elite “Hunt” team to track you down
- Third tier reinforces region locations with large placement guns
• Factions will mount counter attacks to recapture outposts over time
- Local resistance will call for help
• Enemies have sleep schedules, meal schedules
- Helping locals can provide this intel, or camera/radio locations
•There are drone varieties
- Auto - hovers over your location for 10 minutes - 3x heavier
- EMP - explodes with small EMP radius
- Explosive - small C4 drone
- Wheels - like R6S Offensive Drones
Enemy AI
• Enemies are set into squads, with roles
- When a location goes on alert, two members approach last known from opposite sides of alley/hallway/corridor, while two take cover
- A second squad will attempt to flank last known, with similar formation
• Player position is actively not tracked, it's based on visual cone, and enemy will communicate last known position
• Loud noises or something out of place will trigger squad investigation/alert
- They will radio, with check-ins ever 2 minutes
- If they miss a check-in, the whole location will go on alert and two squads will investigate last known location
- If escalation continues or bodies are found, without having cut off long range radio, region will be alerted - backup will be called
- backup consists of two squads, with gun mounted trucks coming from the nearest faction location
- any roving squad within 500m will also come to aid
• If CCTV Feed is cut, Watch Enemy will troubleshoot for 2 minutes
- After two minutes, a squad will be dispatched to investigate CCTV location
• If long range radio loses communication, Radio Operator will troubleshoot for 5 minutes
- After five minutes, the base will go on Alert
• After a location is cleared, Heat will be applied based on loudness and if backup was called
- if backup is called, and they have made visual contact, they will report last known gear and/or vehicle
• Normal or Faction vehicles, will not automatically arouse suspicion from distance
- out of place, military or luxury vehicles, will arouse suspicion sooner
- enemy must spot Ghosts in vehicle, which has a shorter detection range and longer detection time than when not in a vehicle
Exploration Carrots:
• Safehouses in each zone
• Unique Tattoos, Non-Military Camo & Weapon Skins, and XP/Credits
Missions: These require a cut scene, are set-up like GRAW, a smaller, sandbox map "off site"

Teaser Gameplay Trailer:
The Ghost Team is progressing through a small town. We see two different faction squads on either side of the group of buildings ahead of them. The squad splits, each luring the enemy factions toward the same point, then back out an alley between them and up in to the building. We see the enemies then engage each other, noticing the Ghosts slipping past over the rooftops and continuing on toward their target.
