How to "see" or detect invisible Bodark?

    Hi,

is there any way how to detect them? Thermal vision does not work.

    thank you.

I haven't had much of a problem. But then I take most of them out before I alert the place. If I understand how they work correctly, they are generally visible like any other enemy, but when alerted, will go invisible. Sometimes I've seen them patrolling around (un-alerted) while invisible, but that seems the exception rather than the norm.

But to answer your question, try the Pathfinder class. It has a white-hot thermal filter on night vision that makes them pretty easy to spot. They sometimes show up on the regular thermal NV for me, sometimes not. It's not a reliable method. I actually find them pretty easy to spot in daylight without any visual aid as the shimmering seems pretty obvious to me. At night, it's a lot harder, and the normal green night vision filter makes things worse, not better

I did a mission yesterday and it's all invisible Bodarks. No one else and they weren't visible the whole time. It was quite annoying. Eventually, I shot them off the mainland with a sniper rifle. I want to destroy them with Sharpshooter class.

Yeah, there is a mission like that where you have to take out elite bodark personal and is only the invisible guys.
It's It's pain, because I never was able to see them, I just shoot where their bullets are coming from.
Occasionally they will short circuit, but it takes a while and jts short duration, they move a lot, easy to lose them again specially when dealing with many.
I hope there is an option in the future to remove them, I never died in the main game but died a lot to them, and I like to play to not get shot

Hmmm are you guys talking about that mission on Omega… the island? Did you try the Pathfinder white-hot thermal? I had no trouble spotting them with that. But even without that, it was fairly easy to spot them… at least for me. The camo effect shimmers and has a bit of a halo effect I find.

On extreme and no hud I find them annoying as hell. And I play mostly night time so as you mentioned they are not that easy too see on nvgs...

Option to disable seekers and armored enemies is really needed. There is basically no difference between those and drones. Both are making more realistic setup gameplay a pain instead of fun.

And it does not affect arcade crowd. They can keep everything on and blow the whole place up... I dont get why these options werent delivered day one for motherland...

I guess there will be issues with dialogs and missions. Like the very first one where you have to scan / observe them...

I took care of them with the Thermals from the Pathfinder class and it was pretty easy. I accidentally put them on alert mode by killing an enemy in front of another and then I climbed the guard tower on the other side of the base and started sniping them one by one. After killing almost half of them they returned to normal mode and removed their camo so it became much easier to kill them.

If someone finds this mission hard, I suggest you put them on alert mode on purpose and then hide until they return to normal mode. Doing so will make them remove their camo. Another solution is to throw EMP grenades at them if they are in an enclosed space. This will disable their camo temporarily.

Their stealth camo makes some sort of white noise. You should be able to hear them even with drones (I honestly don't remember trying/doing that).

But I can tell you they are able to "kill" team mates, because the friendly AI is unable to spot them once they're fully stealth.

That "white noise" they make is actually their voice. The reason you can hear them is because they're talking on their own and because they're taunting you when in combat. Not sure why Ubi gave them a distorted radio voice instead of making them be completely silent. As for the teammates being unable to spot them when they activate their camo, it is true that they can't but when in combat the teammates know exactly where the Seekers are even if they activated their camo.
