Trivial symbolism in Immortals Fenyx Rising
I tried to find symbolism in this game, and I found it. The main story is about seven gods. The first is Fenyx, who is the god of unity and is associated with the reborn Phoenix bird. I have been looking for a god equivalent to him in Greco-Roman mythology, and it seems that I have identified Sol Invictus, the god of the Undefeated Sun, who corresponds to Sunday.
Monday is not covered by any god. Normally, is Artemis/Diana (Monday), but I saw her killed by Typhon at intro, the godesse with green hair which Tyhpon say about her that she killed six childs with her rage, and only Artemis did it according of greek mythology.
Instead we find:
-Ares / Mars (Tuesday)
-Hermes / Vulcan (Wednesday)
-Zeus / Jupiter (Thursday)
-Aphrodite / Venus (Friday)
The story of the lost gods also includes Kronos / Saturn (Saturday).
Another trivial aspect - the gods whose names are used for the 5 planets known in antiquity and the Middle Ages.
- The sun is represented by Apollo, who does not appear in person, but communicates through the oracle and Hermes.
- The moon is represented by Artemis, killed by Typhon at the beginning of the game.
- Planet Mercury - Hermes
- The planet Venus - Aphrodite, which represents its atmosphere and brightness as we see it in the night sky, on the other hand, Hephaestus / Vulcan, would be the arid, toxic and volcanic surface of the planet, the hidden ugliness, or would be the hypothetical planet of the 18th century. -19, which was said to orbit between the Sun and Mercury.
- Planet Mars- Ares
- Planet Jupiter- Zeus
- Planet Saturn- Kronos from the "Lost Gods" DLC
And finally, the color of the eyes of main gods :
- Ares -war - red eyes
- Hephaestus- metalworking - orange eyes
- Zeus-lightning- yellow eyes
- Athena-wisdom - green eyes
- Hermes- commerce - blue eyes
- Aphrodite-love- pink eyes
In Lost Gods:
- Hestia - fire - red eyes
- Demeter - earth - green eyes
- Boreas- air- Turquoise eyes
- Poseidon - water - blue eyes
- Hades - hell - purple eyes
What I noticed is that the gods have yellow constellations on them. They all have normal skin color like humans, except for Hades who has purple skin because he is the god of underworld.
Instead, titans like Kronos and Prometheus have light blue skin.

I want to add that Sol-Invictus, like the Phoenix bird, comes from Eastern mythologies. Sol-Invictus, associated with Fenyx, is inspired by Mithra from the Zoroastrian religion.
And the Phoenix bird comes from ancient Egypt.
