What order are you doing Motherland regions in?

I don’t know any of the new names of the combined regions, so please avoid those, but I’m curious what order you are doing the various regions in (or did them). And why?

After Liberty I went North into Infinity and New Sterling. I was going to go counter clockwise in increasing difficulty, but then figured I needed to deal with the Azreals sooner than later so shifted to Restricted Area 01. Now I’m not sure what would make the most sense. Thoughts?

I did the same. However, I want to take my time to enjoy this DLC so I don't move to another region unless I "take over"enemy bases in the region and loot (collect skill points, weapon parts, camo points etc.)

Also, its a lot of fun entering a new region. Ubiflop really made you feel you were going behind enemy lines. Really enjoying this.

I went Infinity/New Sterling first as well. I tend to do what I feel is most sensible, realistic and immersive and the Outcasts would probably want control of the food production as first order of business, then the homesteader settlements of Fen Bog/Sinking Country before targeting drone production, the Azrael network and other tech installations.

I definitely take my time with this update, going slow and being sensible and methodical about my approach to every objective. A simple assassination mission can turn out to be anything but simple. I decided to abandon the whole Ghost thing long ago and just create my own story and consider my character one of the Outcasts, meaning frags, flashbangs, binoculars and C4 as the only equipment, no drone, no NVG, no optic camo, no HUD. Just a simple firearm. I also try to avoid killing if I can avoid it, instead taking down enemies with flashbangs and melee knock-outs when possible It adds a lot to the overall Motherland experience fighting against vast technolotically superior adversaries. I love the Seekers especially. Keeps you on your toes even more.

After Liberty we did Channels, Restricted Area, and South Side, moving north As a 2 player Coop and play when Bro is on. Solo from Fresh doing Same but not putting in the hours I use to. Even though I am warming to Motherland, a lot seems similar, Bodarks replacing old Ememy, in same locations as before, the draggy talk to Bowman you can not skip etc. It is great to have new Missions, albeit seems to be a repeating thing after a time. Yesterday one of the Missions was taking down the Azreals in the place where you killed Flycatcher previously, I did enjoy that but found it pretty easy and only play on Extreme/Elite. I do enjoy rescuing the Prisoners as more Stealth is needed.

After Liberty I did Infinity but after Infinity I too went to Restricted Area 01 to disable the Azrael drones. After that I continued counterclockwise to surround the 2 remaining regions in the middle of the map (Silent Mountain & New Argyll) because I thought that's what a trained army would've done IRL. You surround the enemy so that he has nowhere to go, and I figured I should do that for immersion reasons even though the Bodarks never try to reclaim lost regions or fight back. Now I'm thinking about restarting Conquest and doing it clockwise this time and with a different class (the class I used for my first playthrough was the Engineer class).

That’s a great alternative way to play.

I'm reading what each province is responsible and adjusting accordingly.
First is liberty because the game makes you take there.
But I'm thinking on the following terms:
    • Surveillance/Information
    • Weaponry
    • War Crimes
    • Resources

We are in an Island with our only support being the outcasts, a drone we can hack and for those who still have it, the laser designator which sends a ballistic missile.
Apart from that, we don't have an actual armed forces to back us besides the outcasts guerrilla.
So we need to first cripple their Azreal fleet, to avoid them finding us/outcasts so easily.
Then we gotta attack their arsenal and steal as many weapons and vehicles for the outcasts that we can, that way they can support us in our other missions
Then we deal with the hostages and civilians that are being executed in the provinces that are suffering with a lot of war crimes and then we shut down their mining operations and deal with other non military resources

That makes a lot of sense. So where should I go next after Restricted Area 01?
