Would you call Operation Motherland a success?

Did it do it for you? Is your faith restored? Is it enough to keep you happy? How would you feel if this was the last piece of content for Breakpoint?

I am greatly enjoying Operation Motherland!!
    My faith is partially restored.
It's enough to keep me happy for now, but I would like more content in the future.
I would feel sad if this was the last piece of content for Breakpoint because there is so much more potential in it.

I'm happy and it makes me think it has potential to more.
Definitely wouldn't be happy if it were the last content, they added things that aren't in this update to be activated in future updates and I'm curious to what they are.
My faith is kind of mid term, they are capable of delivering what we want, the question is if they are willing to do it, even if they were to sell future year passes

    Yes. I’d definitely say it’s a success.
So far yes, it is doing it for me.
I’m cautiously optimistic for the future. (Very cautiously).
It’s good for now, but I think the approach to replayability is still off the mark. (I still think the best way to go would be a mission creator).
I’d now actually be disappointed if this was the last piece of content. (Unless that was because there was a new game announced, full of all the features we’ve talked about so much).

    Yes, enjoying it so far.

Though the base story has had many changes too.

A fresh playthrough of the whole game has been a blast.

What has changed in the base story?

But to answer the original question... Yes! Bowman!!!... new regional based missions and having an impact on the world populated with new enemies... it's much more immersive and interesting than the original story. New guns with great sounds is icing on the cake!

I'm enjoying it even with the imperfections and flaws.

My faith in Ubi is still not restored, nor will it be until they reveal an actual Ghost Recon game in the making that is appropriate for the series and finally start to actively communicate.

As to whether or not this is the last content launch, I'm largely indifferent. Breakpoint and Ubi's take on Ghost Recon with this game is something that will never be exactly what I would like Ghost Recon to be. Even though it is in an enjoyable state with the last update there are many things I would like to see in a future game that just are clearly not possible with Breakpoint due to whatever reason, including the possibility that it is not within Ubi's vision to make such a game.

no. same mission types, multiple disconnects when attempting to clear camp tiger, ridiculous numbers of SAM sites around bases and we all know the map in a lot of areas is very mountainous, the exclamation marks keep appearing in my opticam section to remind me I made mk3?, the vasily and fixit shirts still have exclamation marks months after those getting color options update, bullet sponge enemies doesn't make the game more tactical. A 50 caliber bullet would turn any helmet you could wear into a mist of particles and if you could survive a shot to the head then your neck would break. i am sick of these updates with the exclamation marks on intel I've read a million times, clothes as a reminder, etc. So we got optical camouflage and a couple of cool guns. Is that really worth doing the same missions over and over?

I don't think we'll hear about new Ghost Recon until after the Avatar launch, and they see how folks react to them dropping the PS4/XBOne.

I don't think we'll ever see a Communicative Ubi Franchise until after the Guillemot's have moved on...

I'm only a few hours into Motherland, so don't feel comfortable calling it a success, but so far it seems to be headed in the right direction, within the limitations they are stuck with.

While I’m enjoying operation motherland it still doesn’t really feel like much of an improvement on WL. I’m talking actual game mechanics and not just graphics, the world has less people, for every added feature they have also taken stuff away, the mtx and items are a joke, all crye gear locked behind a paywall, loads of stupid heavies, rubbish arcade mechanics all of the place in BP.

So I don’t have a warm fuzzy feeling because it’s almost 100% certain that Ubisoft will see increased player count on OM and probably decide that more heavies is what people want.

The game needs more depth, like armour and camo and weight etc but Ubisoft just won’t do it.
