    That can’t be right.

I’m pretty sure enemies view distance is affected at night or dark areas, it was in Wildlands…..

Otherwise what’s the point in taking out lights or generators?

Yeah, the enemies can see through darkness and vegetation as if it's not there. The good news is that their detection distance is so bad, that it's probably more accurate at night and definitely unrealistically poor in daylight.

My recommendation is to equip the slim shadow perk when operating at night, and un-equip it when operating during daylight. If you're using gear score, you can additionally use a set of gear with stealth buffs when operating at night which makes them react a bit slower. Then switch back to your default (no useful buffs) gear set for daytime operations.

The hiding in a bush things works for me in Breakpoint, Chris. The enemies will just walk by.

Same here until the shooting starts. Then they can see me even if I can’t see them. They can also shoot through some objects like portions of the embankment wall above the dam.

The worst is any confrontation near any vineyards. There's one is by a Wolf Base and you might think you can run into the field to get out of sight, but you'd be wrong... since they have x-ray vision through the vineyards.

Oooh yeah. That vineyard where they always have a faction mission where you are up on a hill? Fortunately it does have stone walls. Not that those make any sense in a high tech vineyard.

The poorly programmed AI can see at Night, the Outfits offer no protection, and as said above the Vineyards are pointless.
