It certainly seems the Editorial Board shoved Raids into both Breakpoint and TD2. It certainly seems they pushed Gear Score into Breakpoint as well. I'm curious if Paris pitched the idea of "behind enemy lines, so no AI teammates" or if the Editorial Board also gave a command and that was Paris's answer to the decree.

I think Motherland might clear up the picture a little, but we won't have a true answer to whether they took the charter to heart until the next go round.

Thank you for specifically using the battle belt as an example.

Breakpoint launched with the option to not have a battle belt equipped as long as you also didn't have a vest equipped. At this time both the belt and the vests came with absolutely nothing attached to them. Except for the paid for content the Cross-Draw vest.

Players gave feedback that we would like to have actual gear on our vests and our belts, and also the option to not have a belt with the vest.
Ubi responded by removing the pouches and holster from the Cross-Draw vest, and adding the forced battle belt even without a vest equipped.

I worked with several different Ubi reps over the course of just as many months to get the studio to even acknowledge that they had removed the attachments from the PAID FOR Cross-Draw vest, and when they finally they did acknowledge that the content had been changed they followed it with a statement that it was intentional and would remain that way. The only reason that players now have a Cross-Draw vest with the advertised attachments is because I was able to use their published intent to blast them on every single Ubisoft social media outlet(All ubi twitters, facebook, reddit, the forums, and youtubes) for robbing players of their purchased content. Litterally with-in a week they made an official announcement that the Cross-Draw vest would be reinstated as sold.

Anyway, back to the belt... I believe the only person who has provided more feedback on the belt than myself is Steven, and all with the request to simply have it removed like it ALREADY was. And as we provided this feedback, new items were added to the game that removed the battle belt. Every. Single. Time. we mentioned one of these items Paris would "fix" it by adding the belt. Then they began adding clothing sets to the store that were showcased without a belt. Making the only way you as a player can play without a belt(a feature that was in the game at launch) is to spend more money. . . But guess ******g what... they even added belts to those.

Have the past three years of Ubisoft's behavior shown you nothing?
As I said, they lie, they take your money, and they deliver crap.

Your feedback does only one of two things:
    Gets ignored
    OR
Gets used to... lie to you and take your money and feed you more crap.

There is no stopping the BADtle belt. You can only run from the beast.

Please do! I'm genuinely curious as to what the results would be.

Not all of us believed their lies

And they didn't completely lie, as they gave us a Beta. Many just chose to ignore reality out of hope their original words were hidden in the full game, rather than speak with their wallet. Now they're saltier than those of us that waited and got the semi-fixed version at a very healthy discount.

    <snipped>

The point is that investors don't care what features are in a game, they care about financial returns. Ubi corporate are the ones who decide how to generate those returns by telling studios what games to work on. Ubi Paris are the ones who *should* be listening to feedback.

Anyhow, this is a discussion forum. You can choose to keep repeating the same old complaints, despite believing Paris don't listen, or try to organize feedback. I applaud any effort towards the latter.

Gotta admit, I did laugh at that image

No idea, but I would not be surprised if AI teammates were cut to ensure they met their release date. Ubisoft corporate often send in a "closer" to hammer on a team and get the game released.

    old sh1t
I was also very active on my old account. I even made a list of all the belt posts I found, for the forum team. A disgruntled Walker in the depths of my soul is still crying from ugly belt and hoping for the best

At best Keltimus' efforts will give him a little joy and hype some of the other members of the community, and will be completely ignored by everyone at Ubi.
At worst, someone at Ubi listens, cherry picks a suggestion or two that they can use as a selling point for their next, unfinished, lower quality, money grab, piece of crap game they slap the Tom Clancy name on. "Bloused boots" anyone?

Breakpoint failed at launch. The investors said fix it. Ubi put out a survey asking "how can we fix it?" They took a very small part of the feedback, half assed it into the game, and then stopped expanding on them as soon as the investors stopped pressuring them.

The point is Keltimus' passion, the community's passion, doesn't mean **** to Ubi except the potential for financial returns. They are done making good, quality, games. Your feedback feeds the big "duck you" machine. So keep feeding, and keep getting ducked.
If the actually cared to improve on the game or the franchise they would start the conversation.
