    Hello Coady22,

Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear you're unable to launch the original Ghost Recon!

May we please know the specs of your PC (GPU, CPU, RAM)?

And if you could please also make sure to give all of the steps in our guide a try, including verifying the game's files.

Please let us know how you get on!

There's nothing to verify as this game just doesn't start up. I can concur. Tried it.
    First time error message:

    Code:
GhostRecon caused an Access Violation in module d3d8.dll at 0023:507ec356.
Exception handler called in Main Thread.
    Error occurred at 11/5/2021 14:41:22.
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon\GhostRecon.exe, run by elst9.
    12 processor(s), type 586.
    2048 MBytes physical memory.
Read from location 00000000 caused an access violation.
After researching that with friends and following the advice here: https://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/in...or-windows-10/, after deleting the file, now the music starts for a hot second, then the game crashes again.

    This time with the following:
    Code:
CPU: AuthenticAMD 3793 MHz Recent AMD
          RAM: 2048 MB
O/S: Microsoft Windows NT Family 6.2 build 9200
