Why? Why drag Ghost Recon through this crap? It’s not a Ghost Recon. I don’t care what you label the artwork. It is not a Ghost Recon game. I’ll also say this Ubisoft you’re complete imbeciles.

I also disagree with their decision to attach the Ghost Recon name to this, but I also don't think this spells doom for the Franchise. Love it or hate it [most clearly hate it], Ubisoft has decided to leverage their existing IP by "expanding their Universe's". Not only into the F2P arena, but they're also pushing into other media formats [The Division movie].

It's a defensible decision for Ubi Suits [it's stupid to not try for a slice of the F2P pie, plus it can lead to converts who buy AAA after liking the F2P variant], and we'll all forget about it if Motherland is good and then we do get either a [good] Breakpoint DLC or the next Ghost Recon game [if they've righted the ship].

I remember back then and people were asking for a Hardcore battle royale game because Wildlands was so wacky and it was Far Cry in a different skin.

At that time everyone was loving PUBG due to it being more Hardcore than all current shooters on consoles.

The problem is they have went wacky again with the BR game they have produced had it been a full on tactical realistic like game they would not get the hate they are getting.

The thing is, back then, people were recognizing what a Ghost Recon BR type of game could be with PUBG being so popular. Fast forward 4 years or so and seeing the Frontline Reveal, they are just way off on what anyone in this community wants.

This is the part I don't get. Why is it not TPP? Why is it not slower and more tactical? This could have gone after PUBG & Escape From Tarkov, as basically a larger scale Hunt: Showdown without the amazing atmosphere and PvE bits [seriously, Hunt:Showdown has the best atmosphere of any shooter I've ever played - they also have loadouts].

I Figured XDefiant is going after Valorant [slightly more COD style]. Heartland is going after Apex/Scavengers [more Scavengers style]. This seems more aimed at Warzone? Meh..

Stopping the Pre-Ordering and the Same Day Launch Purchases will help tremendously. I know 60 to 100 bucks is not going to make anybody richer or poorer but the point is they know that, hence, why they can get away with launching crap at less than 50% done with the false promise of fixing it in the long run. If you make them liable, meaning, not buying into it until they prove the game is at least 85% to 90% done then the rest of the 10% will be fixed and the following DLCs will also be some what decent and/or good even.

On first breakpoint unveiling, first question fans asked developers was

"Is it Battle Royale?"
-"No, lets see how it goes. (thinking on Breakpoint ofc)"

and yet here we are with BR that clearly tries to push in their game next to Warzone niche.
