They needed an established moniker people identify with to help advertise it. After breakpoint, xdefiant, and most likely even the latest Rainbowsix, I can't imagine too many people outside looking at Ubi for an actual original concept and with little care, such as in the case with xdefiant. It still makes absolutely no sense, but this is Ubi. I couldn't see it making much of a difference in potential success if this was named Tom Clancy Frontlines, Ubisoft's Frontlines, or what it is with Ghost Recon Frontlines.Originally Posted by Keltimus Go to original post

How many more games are Ubisoft going to stick Tom Clancy's name on? Poor guy is probably flipping like flap jacks in his grave seeing his name just getting tossed on anything Ubisofts feels like making. Oh it has guns in it, put Tom's name on it and we're good to go boss.
