Ah I see that thread is gone already.

It's fine to like or not like a thing, but being civil about it would be a good thing.

What Ubisoft have done is almost an act of war. They’ve ruined the Tom Clancy legacy, so I don’t expect passionate people to be civil.

At the end of the day,

1 Toon has a job to do here.
2 She may well have genuinely been excited about this. Different people like different things. Just because we don't like it and it hasn't been well received, she might actually do.

While I personally don't understand how this was thought that it would excite many here, and goes against feedback, Toon may well have been genuinely excited about the new project, and as I said different people like and view things differently from others.

agreed and understanding T00n's job what would anyone expect. She doesn't get to make decisions on releasing information or make her personal opinion known. How long does anyone think she'd have a job if she posted "Hey GR fans, the big reveal is tomorrow and you all are gonna hate it. You might want to go do something else rather than watch."

I'm not attacking what she said beforehand, she is paid to say what they want her to say, just like if Pepsi paid me to be a spokesperson I couldn't go around saying this stuff is crap (even though I know it is true). She acted surprised that we wouldn't be eager for a crappy Multiplayer only Battle Royal type game. That is my issue. I'm just surprised she would be surprised the majority of us wouldn't be on board.

Let's just say the truth: Ubisoft is not hearing anyone from the community. Making another Battle Royale is a big fail and this time it means the death of the whole franchise. From the deepest of my heart I just wish them to get a lesson this time and sales will spit on their face how much they fu**ed it up this time.
