With the way things have gone, I can't say I'm all that excited, though I am eager to see just how much Ubi has actually listened or if they have just kind of glossed over requests and discussions.Originally Posted by UbiT00n Go to original post
Buddy, what Ubisoft gets excited and hyped about is very different to what gets us excited about.Originally Posted by Church367A Go to original post
Now I'm just sceptical for the next couple of days.
New project doesn't mean new game. But new project could mean a new game or a DLC. But we already know about the DLC, so that couldn't be part of the announcement, so it can't be Operation Motherland.
If next week isn't a new game reveal, this whole Ghost Recon fiasco is just sad for gaming.

That was the best troll thread though
I wish I was as excited as you are. Wildlands and Breakpoint have left me being very skeptical, and seeing other media handle the subject of Tier 1 special operations has left me wanting more for the Ghost Recon series that I just don't expect Ubisoft to deliver on. That's why I'm not excited about this new project reveal (Project Over/Ghost Recon OVR, I assume). I just don't expect Ubisoft Paris to deliver an authentic US Tier 1 Special Operations-based gameplay experience, and certainly not this soon, without having time to really dig deep into the more substantial discussions within the community that have taken place over the last two years and especially over the last few months.Originally Posted by UbiT00n Go to original post
Yep, I am going to have to be THAT guy and ask... what exactly is there to be excited about? What exactly did I miss in those words? The "Surprises"?
Another announcement to announce something that will be happening and announced in a few days. Got it!
No fixes in like forever but sure, a few new trending words and new art and I'm supposed to get all wet in the nether regions?
The Hype-Train is finally here folks, prepare to get yourselves announced to death.![]()
