Thank you for the information on this, UbiT00n. The new artwork does look quite nice!! Now this particular link doesn't mention anything about the next-gen versions of the game, but you did hint at some upcoming news. So maybe will we know more then.

Ah! I see what this is. Ubisoft finally rebranded Ghost Recon Breakpoint using their new "A Ubisoft Original" branding, like they did with other games. So they're reselling these editions with the new branding. I guess, then, that tomorrow's news will be of the next-gen console versions. That's great for console players, I guess, if it's in fact a next-gen update.

I wish there had been an actual 20th anniversary celebration of the Ghost Recon series, though. That never happened. Nothing you all did was a celebration of the series, and with the lack of news and information, I doubt it'll ever happen. And if the studio can't even appreciate the series they created, how can we expect them to appreciate the players who have stuck by this series for decades? There's no point in saying this anyway. Everyone already knows this.

You mean the anniversary that's month and half away? The one that's hinted at in this news with the "present emote" (which is visible on twitter and reddit)? Hmmmm...

This entire year was supposed to be a celebration of the 20th anniversary. Also, the present emote is just for "exciting news". It's not a specific hint towards celebrating the anniversary.

I'm glad you mentioned the "present emote". I just looked at it on Reddit. Here on this site, it shows as two question marks. I thought that was UbiT00n being funny saying it's questionable whether it's exciting or not.

My thoughts exactly. Maybe we'll get some rubber duck news like the Division 2 with no new content

I know it is your job toon but dang... pretty ballsy of Ubisoft to rebrand a Beta version of a game they have yet to finish. Then again, it is not a GaaS so I guess is ok.

    A Ubisoft Original?

More like a Ubisoft mediocre copy of other games but I guess it all depends on the definition they are going with.
