    Game cube controller

    Hello everyone, I just learned that Link uses a 64 controller, which made me think it would be possible to use the best controller of all time, game cube. I have an adaptor already plugged in, what should I do next?

    I think the most important part would be setting up the drivers correctly.
    However, be warned that trackmania has Issues even with PS4 controllers and some steering wheels. From what I read you already got the drivers set up, and the game doesn't detect your controller, is that correct?

    Try reinstalling the drivers step by step, look for a tutorial video. There might be little things you missed. I found one but that was from 2015.

    You might have a chance to make it work if you randomly change one of the 4 lines in the default.json. (located in documents/trackmania/config)

    Code:
        "InputsAlternateMethod" : false,
        "InputsCaptureKeyboard" : false,
        "InputsFreezeUnusedAxes" : true,
        "InputsEnableRumble" : true,
    No Idea what the first 3 do exactly.

    Furthermore, test the controller in another game if you can.

    Hello Vierance, thank you for your question. Just to add to what Fowst2010 has posted >

    The game does support Xinput and Dinput controllers, if that is what you can get your controller recognised as. If using the controller as a Xinput device, you may need to use a Xinput wrapper program too.

    Please note, as the controller needs a converter (unless modded to use Bluetooth) the game and launcher may be having trouble recognizing this and may be why the controller does not show in-game.
