How To Resume Saved Game | Forums

I am new to SH4 and I am enjoying it very much. My question is when you save a game in career mode, how do you resume where you left off? Each time I try it always takes me back to the very start of the patrol.

I haven't played with it, but from what I understand of it, do you have the 'replay' box checked when you hit save?

How are you saving during the game? You need to save often by selecting 'Save' and 'Resume' every five minutes or so. Is that what you're doing?

Create a save by pressing ESC key and then save game. Save when you are not on the attack otherwise it may be corrupted. Also there is a manual in the SH4 directory for what it's worth. There is also this guide The SHIV Guide by tambor198 in the tips thread at the top of the forum.

Hello rwb1939, I am going to figure you know how to save a patrol and your not sure where that save is. When you start up the game a main menu comes up, the one that has listed things you can click on like, Submarine School, Career, War Patrol, etc. Just below Multiplayer is Load Game, that is what you click on to see your saved games.
