New game's may/will kill Ubi games

This my opinion of course but I'm seeing this all over social media even youtube. Primarily on Facebook all I see over GR pages is insurgency sandstorm. That game especially if you don't mind 1st person view is definitely going to take players. Didn't realize it released this month but there's more potential on the co-op and pvp than GRBP. As for the single player depends on the longevity for it.

I won't be playing that game cause 1st person not my thing and I already have too many titles this month I'm getting. Still I wish the best for Insurgency Sandstorm and perhaps add 3rd person post launch.

The Division is going to have the same issue to. I know it's not much to its playerbase but for those waiting for The Division Heartland may just jump ship. Since there hasn't been much news on Heartland from Ubi nor Red Storm is going to cause other games to sweep up users. The Day Before has a special event this month that will give a release date to come out this year.

Ubisoft going silent on anticipated titles, updates, and so on isn't going to help much. Either way that's my 2 cents on the future I see. It could be December till we hear about the update for BP. I not even sure Ubisoft aware they have competitiors. Here I thought they communication got better but they terrible at branding anything till last minute.

Honestly, I don't see it hurting this game or TD2 that much. any more than any other FPS shooter. Between the first person perspective and lack of a solos campaign will prevent many from picking it up. If anything, it could draw some of the Siege player base, that may be looking for something a little more grounded for their PVP fix. But i think it's main competition ion console s going to be BF2042 and .CoD vanguard.

I agree. Seems a bit hyped right now. Cod and BF is the real threat

I'll definitely be playing Insurgency Sandstorm. Tactical Shooters are a rare thing on console these days. Don't really care much for Pop Shooters like COD and I can't stand the direction R6 went in. Ugh! Still waiting for the return of Socom. lol

All the guys I play Ghost War with on Wildlands have ordered Sandstorm. Wildlands Ghost War has gotten a bit stale and nobody I run with can take Breakpoint's PvP so I think the upcoming shooters will take a lot of players.

They may take a large portion of the PVP players, but in all honesty, that's a very small percentage of the overall player base. .

Insurgency also has coop modes and BF has portal of course, so it may impact more than just the PvP base.

I will take a mediocre First Person View shooter than a proper GR experience with a clunky Third Person View any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Go take a look at the FPV from Ground Branch where you can even see your boots when you look down and doesn't give you that miracle 3rd eye that TPV gives you.
