Questions about FC5 from a beginner

Hello! I'm new to the far cry 5 franchise and I'm thinking about which edition is most worth it for me to buy.

I want to play the game not only for the characters or gunplay, but exploring rural Montana, and see the beauty of the countryside and explore the game.

As such which edition, normal, gold, deluxe should I buy? Also, which DLC would you guys recommend me to go for?

As a last question, is there multiplayer in this game, and is monetization a large part of the gameplay experience?

With the DLC there is Dead Living Zombies, can't remember the number of locations possibly 8, you go from one to another and there is a crazy Story of a guy shooting a movie - its tongue in cheek humor, you have to get a set score to move on to the next level and also the speed you complete it gives you score plus more points for head shots etc - you can also play the level without the dialogue.

The Hours Of Darkness is a Vietnam style DLC but the mechanics work a little differently, you can do stealth kills and you build up this meter type thing and after so many I think you get an airstrike option (can't remember 100% as it's some time since I have played it) so you can target areas and a plane will drop bombs, it's pretty cool - think you have to clear the AA guns in some areas before airstrikes can be done, the whole map is quite big and there are some really nice visuals, extras like finding dead parachutists and cigarette lighters plus you can save POW's and save captured soldiers then have them fight for you.

Lost On Mars DLC is ok again its one really big level but quite repetitive and more of a grind, there are giant spiders and space creatures and you can get a jetpack type thing where you can thrust upwards.

I would say if you can get the game at a good price with the DLC go for it but don't pay silly prices as they are not that big.
You can buy currency in game this unlocks costumes and weapon skins stuff like that, you can unlock most of the stuff through playing but unsure if the weekly challenges still work, these would give you rewards when you do certain things.

There is multiplayer and there is a map / level creator where you can build your own levels its called Arcade there are thousands of levels you can play solo or invite a friend and play in coop and there is DM / TDM up to 12 players online if you play online go to lobby browser and you will see people hosting games there.

If you just want to explore Montana you can go with the default edition this will still have Arcade providing you have an online connection.
