    New Ghost Recon Game

    Hey everyone,

I completed Sandlilands85 survey for the next Ghost Recon game. The link is below if you haven't completed it.

    https://www.survey-maker.com/QC9RY12CO

A few things I found interesting in it that I voted for:

    For PVP:
-Bringing back a class system for PVP.
    -But use character from PVE
-Increasing PVP from 4V4 to 12V12. I voted for 12V12.
-Maps from the game world for PVP. (Personally, I think Ubisoft should abstract many areas from the game for maps and have us play in different areas each game. Is that hard? I don't want to feel familiar with a map in this game. Keep things fresh)
    -New game modes

    Game content:
-New map in Afghanistan and Africa. I'd like both regions in the game personally.
-Breaching, stacking doors, Helicopter driven by AI and rope out to missions,
-No crossover events or missions. Only characters from the Tom Clancy universe that fits the storyline.

    I'm out,
    Eagle-eyezx

Too bad the majority here don't want a game design, designed around a COD MW Clean House or Wolf's Den Tom Clancy type game. They all want a semi simulator experience. Good thing Ground Branch is being made for us older folk!

Buddy, Ground Branch is one of the reasons why I will get a gaming PC. And knowing the developer used to work on Ghost Recon and Rainbow 6, it's staggering how different Ubis games are and the direction Ground Branch is.

Red Storm Entertainment was the best part of Ubisoft.

I don't believe GR is supposed to be a simulator. Is that what Ground Branch is supposed to be?

I play Milsim on Ghost Recon with some military vets, and it's very good for that. There are aspects of the game that should be in Ghost recon titles.

Yes, Ground Branch is a Milsim game. I use the context "game" lightly. It can be used as a very realistic CQB tool. Real world weapons, realistic gun mechanics. Everything is based on the real world CIA Ground Branch. It's like a smaller Arma/GR1 game but without all the controls you have to remember. It's slow being developed but is worth every penny imho.

I loved those missions, and would love something similar in the next game, but Ghost Recon shouldn't be designed strictly around that kind of gameplay. If anything, that's what a Rainbow Six campaign should have been like.

Yep I agree with you here, those kind of missions much better suit the Rainbow style of gameplay in my opinion. Although yes it would be nice to have something similar ima GR game I don’t think it would feel the same in a 3rd person view.

Part of the problem you would run into there will be that if GR did do that they would be slated for just ripping of more COD mechanics in my eyes. Although those missions were highly detailed and great to play the fact that they are still more or less completely linear does hinder them slightly

I would also disagree that we want a simulator experience, Wildlands was in no way a simulator experience. But it felt a lot more grounded and authentic compared to Breakpoint, all the majority wants is for a bit more realism when it comes to gameplay mechanics.
