Happy Tuesday! It’s just me, Toller, your friendly community lead, and I have all the hottest news to share from the world of Phone Destroyer! There’s a lot to go over today, so let’s just get into it!
Here is the Weekly Timetable
WEEKLY EVENTS
We have a Mission event starting us off this week, with the help of The Coon! This event will run for two days, bringing us up to our Chaos Mode for this week too. Our four favourite boys, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman will be the stars this time around, as all of their cards will gain a major speed boost!
There will also be a mini Token Collection event that will run for 24 hours, starting on Thursday.
Friday will bring plenty to the table, starting with the new and improved Pope Timmy, featuring in a Weekend Event all his own.
Here are the cards for his event:
- Pope Timmy
- Dark Angel Red
- Archangel Bradley
- Witch Doctor Token
- Medusa Bebe
- Hermes Kenny
- Friar Jimmy
- Zen Cartman
- Sharpshooter Shelly
- Professor Chaos
- Infiltrator Kevin
- Nathan
- Dragonslayer Red
The point totals for this week’s events are as follows:
Did you think that was everything for events? SURPRISE! It’s not! Friday will also mark not only the return of our Cheesy Poof Event, it will also mark the release of our newest Superhero card, Changeling Red!
This fantastically illustrated card will be the newest Legendary added to Phone Destroyer, and her powers are a blast to play with. With her charge ability she can transform into her freshly defeated foes, which works with almost any enemy unit next to her that was below 33% health. The newly transformed unit will repeat any warcry the original had she will also be immune to any negative effects during the transformation.
For more information, and to see this card in action early, check out any of these fantastic videos that our Content Creators came up with for her:
Masked Ronin, FriarPop, GamingwithDrewzy, FabianTayl0r, LeeShooter, Swagboy914, and Filduro!
Changeling Red will debut in the Cheesy Poof store before her usual intro events, but fear not! Those will be coming up in the near future, so be sure to check next week’s Dev Update for the full scoop!

BALANCE CHANGES
Don’t forget that today is the day these balance changes will go live!
Stan of Many Moons:
Health increased by 17% (272 to 319)
Power range is now 3 but units outside of the range will take half the power damage.
Power Damage decreased by -20% (200 to 160)
Charge Duration decreased by -35% (20 to 13)
Description updated to match power
"Stan of Many Moons power has kept Lightning Bolt, Unholy Combustion and Transmogrify as default spells just to deal with him. With this small rework, we want the power to feel as Legendary as before with the focus on incentivizing playing Stan of Many Moons as a true fighter. He can still deal some damage to far away enemies, but the closer enemies will take more damage. With a faster charge rate, the power will be his default tool in a fight."
Pope Timmy:
Pope Timmy now picks the cheapest card from your HAND. He will no longer bring back the last unit that fell in battle.
Energy Cost decreased by -17% (6 to 5)
Attack increased by 19% (52 to 62)
DPS increased by 19% (13 to 15.5)
Description updated to match power.
"Pope Timmy, for a while, has had a very strong synergy with Call Girl making it the default pair for him. There were no easy and fair options to keep the power as is while keeping the Call Girl combo in check, and so we had to approach Pope Timmy at a different angle.
The new Pope Timmy will spawn a card from your hand. The power works the same way as Call Girl; however, Timmy will always pick the cheapest ally with a minimum cost of 3 energy. If there are multiple cards of the same cost, Timmy will pick randomly between them. Given the new power, Pope Timmy’s stats were upgraded so that he will always give value for the Energy spent.
We are aware that this causes a shift in the way Pope Timmy is played and hope that it still remains a favorite for the fans of the card. We will keep a close eye on how the new Pope performs and ensure that he will not be left behind."
Nathan:
Attack increased by 33% (30 to 40)
DPS increased by 33% (7.32 to 9.76)
AoE Knockback impulse increased by 150% (40 to 100)
Attack Knockback increased by 25% (80 to 100)
"We are also looking at our mortar units who attack slowly and from very far away. Nathan will now be able to cause more destruction with his attack, causing increased knockback to all targets caught in the bombs' area. Additionally, an attack damage buff should get him closer to the standard we have introduced with recent rangers."
Frontier Bradley:
Health decreased by -21% (165 to 130)
Attack increased by 33% (30 to 40)
Attack Buff decreased by -20% (10 to 8)
"Frontier Bradley has been hard to deal with at lower ranks. With these changes we are aiming to make his fighter buff less oppressive for lower ranked players while giving tools to higher rank players in the form of an attack damage buff."
Ice Sniper Wendy:
Time Between Attacks increased by 11% (2.7 to 3)
DPS decreased by -10% (20.74 to 18.67)
"Recently we gave Ice Sniper Wendy better tools for her sniper fantasy. This, however, made her power less useful as she could deal with her targets without it.
Now the time between her strong attacks takes as long as her freezing power, giving equal incentive to choose the power over attacks."
President Garrison:
Aggro Range decreased by -20% (2.5 to 2)
Attack Range decreased by -53% (1.5 to 0.7)
"Last round we adjusted the way that melee area attackers' attack range work and we forgot our dear President Garrison. He will now also have an easier time getting more enemies within his area of attack."
Manbearpig:
Aggro Range decreased by -37% (3.5 to 2.2)
Knockback decreased by -17% (120 to 100)
AoE Knockback added (0 to 100)
Attack range increased by 40% (1 to 1.4)
"The area attacker changes also had an unintended side-effect for their aggro ranges. This should make Manbearpig behave a little better in a fight. We will be looking into Nelly and Super Craig as well for the next round of balance changes."
If anyone has any comments or questions about these changes then please leave a message! I’m happy to ask the team for any extra details that you all might be curious about.
That’s all the news I have to share for now! Best of luck to you all on the battlefield and remember to save room for those tasty Cheesy Poofs over the weekend!
Hearts and Hugs,
-Toller!
The devs like to troll nerf pope then make him the next event!
Can I ask a question with another legendary being added further diluting the pool is anything being looked at regarding rewards it seems to me its becoming harder and harder for non year one players to compete I contstantly face lvl 25 with maxed decks i.e all leggy are 4 or 5 and all epics are 5 would be nice to have roughly 50% fair matches instead of the 10-20% I am getting at the moment. Either rewards need to be fixed or a better matchmaking system needs to be implemented.
