Seeing as the topic always seems to come up every few months about “Zombies” in a GR game I had an idea that would maybe please everyone!
Now before I start I will say that personally I don’t think Zombies should be in Any Tom Clancy game and that there are more than enough zombie shooters out there already to scratch that itch. But here is my idea, I’m going to use Wildlands though to best explain the concept
Effectively after completing the game in the hardest mode you would unlock a secret/hidden World modifier which would give you the ability to swap the enemies in game to Zombies or something of similar effect.
When I say beat the game in the hardest mode I mean like in Wildlands for example if you completed Tier 1 mode in both the main game and Ghost mode and and on extreme from the start.
It would be more of a fun addition as endgame content instead of a dedicated DLC?
As always guys and girls give me your opinions?
I'll answer by quoting you.Originally Posted by Sandilands85 Go to original post
No offense but terrible idea.
I second that.Originally Posted by recklessnico Go to original post
I don't even know why this conversation has even started... Wasn't there a new tactical alien game that came out on PC? And those Arma 3 mods where you fight an alien invasion looked good too.
Here's the point: if you Fully satisfy your community with the game they want after a number of years, this isn't a bad thing. Ubisoft are 5-10years away from this.
With Breakpoint I feel like all that would be needed to do is create some kind of melee animation and take away the existing AI's firearms. I can't image there would be much effort involved in that and given what Ubi has done, assuming actual effort went in to such things as the additional gunsmith changes and missions well I think it is something actually within the realm of possibility given Ubi's track record.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
Nothing has really been well thought out or even fully addressed when it comes to the AI or gunsmith, which both have had time spent on by the Dev team to an extent to only slightly improve what was either completely lackluster or just broken in the case of the AI. The additional missions haven't even been anything noteworthy or worth the time to ever spend replaying the content. So for breakpoint and breakpoint alone, I'd be just fine with seeing it turn into an open world zombie map. For future games, it is all dependent on time and resources allotted and whether or not they fail like they did with Breakpoint.
In general I don't want zombies in Tom Clancy games, but given how worthless Breakpoint is, I would not mind at all for there to be an exception. In fact if it were added to Breakpoint it could just be the game's redeeming quality for some kind of entertainment.
