My opinion is that I have no opinion since I know very little of the man, that is to say I know nothing nor I want to know anything about him. If he makes a change and we can get back to have a grounded GR game then he can expect to have money from my wallet, if not, then we will continue to NOT know each other. I don't need to know everybody in the gaming world to enjoy or hate a game just like I don't care to know the name of the engineer who built or help build the car I drive.Originally Posted by Eagle-eyezx Go to original post
I'm thinking Any day from Soon to Who knows. And NO, this is not a joke but a big effort on my part since history tells us they will never tell us up to a couple to few days before it will hit, then after that, it is a hit and miss what the notes actually say they will fix and update to what they will actually fix, break and not fix.Originally Posted by M0m0_31 Go to original post

Honestly, about Church's and Sandilands' talk of mil-sim (got back to this thread a little late), honestly I don't want Mil-Sim, or an extremely realistic GR myself. I've played Op Flashpoint on PS3, and despite Red River being somewhat better in my opinion, there's gonna be a mechanic or two that I'm not too thrilled with. The biggest peeve is the feel of getting one-shotted by anyone, with almost any weapon. Yes it probably made some sense with GR2 and GRAW 1/2, the enemy would have to be danger close to insta-kill you. Problem was getting one-shotted at nearly any distance time and time again gets frustrating.
Also, I'm not too keen on jamming weapons when the enemy is shooting at you. I'm also not thrilled about helicopter controls being too realistic, because if I can't fly a chopper with realistic controls, then why bother. Injuries, maybe I could work with, if the recovery system for that is like Breakpoint or Red River. It's kinda why I wanted different difficulty setting or a game mode with some of these features. If players, like myself, aren't ready for stuff like that, just play the regular mode or settings. If you are, the more realistic mode is for you, rather than make everyone play Mil-Sim mode if they're not into/ready for it. Speaking of realism/immersion, which is better for finding enemy snipers, laser sight or scope glint? I ask because seeing snipers with laser sights from far away is kinda funny.
Yes, i realize that, but for some reason I honestly don't think we are going to be waiting that long for Motherland . But the 20th Anniversary Showcase s more likely to be shown closer to the actual anniversary date, where they could announce a Year 3, and /or the next game.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
