Seperate release for Ultimate Pack/Vice Pack

Can you release the either the Ultimate Pack or Vice Pack seperately please? Getting fed up with Ubisoft locking dlc behind specific versions of the games. They did it with both AC Valhalla and WD Legion. What's the point?! Just release it seperate from those editions for those that want it. It's extra money in YOUR pocket at the end of the day.
You can't lock Champagne behind the Ultimate Edition of the game. She's too cute.
    FREE CHAMPAGNE! ✊

I suspect the point is to encourage people to buy the more shiny (more expensive version).

It isn't even that though. I bought the Gold Edition of WD Legion, and it didn't even include the dlc from the Deluxe (cheaper) edition. You couldn't buy THAT separately either. They're locking dlc behind specific versions of the game. Which is a bit anti consumer.

I think that's called selling things (the 'good', 'better', 'best' is a decades long marketing technique)

I understand there are 3 offerings (collector's editions aside)

    Standard - Game
Gold - Game + Season Pass
Ultimate - Game + Season Pass + Some shiny extras

I guess if you just want the game and the 'special' amigo, then it is expensive, but it's extra fluff for extra money. Consumer choice.

It should still be available to purchase seperately. Why are you even defending this nonsense?

FC3 and Primal had such possibility ( buy the ultimate upgrade). I guess 6 will have the same option.

I'm simply trying to explain how base and additional editions work.

It seems to me that you are salty because you can't have the cat by itself.

Not salty. Just a bit annoyed. No other developer locks content behind specific versions of games. They usually offer it seperately or as part of the season pass. And seeing as I ordered the Gold Edition with the season pass, that should be good enough. I wouldn't even mind paying a few quid more for the Vice Pack or Ultimate upgrade.

I get that. The super shiny edition is always the most cost-ineffective version (and is likely Ubi's most profitable version).

I was pretty sure that i answered to this but FC3 and FCPrimal did release on the side the "upgrade to" max version. Pretty sure it will be the same here.

Never mind, i did. I'm just too blind to see my own comments. Aging is a terrible course.
