    Totally agree. Its such a mess and as if the arcade nature of the gameplay isn't bad enough the "AI" rubs salt in the wound. Its quite something that MSGV which came out 4 years PRIOR to BP has far far SUPERIOR enemy AI. In fact I'll go as far to say its one of the best enemy NPC behavior I have seen in a game.

    A couple of things about BPs enemies that annoy the hell out of me (crazy decisions by Ubi):

    (1.) They talk so loud and use bright flashlights at night while on patrol. This is of course classic Ubi wanting to make it easy for the gamer to locate them.

    (2.) They run TOWARDS you even if you are in a deadly machine like a helicopter gunship. One of my fav things to do is to fly in a tight fast orbit around a enemy camp while unlashing with the Gatlings. Once I've taken out the SAM launchers and snipers I go into a low hover - and the goons run TOWARDS me. They came right up to underneath the copter shooting at me. Another immersion and realism killer. Surely Ubi could have made them run for cover at the sight of a gunship.

    Additional gripe about the Gatling guns on the helicopters: I have hosed the ground all around an enemy and he stays standing popping away with a rifle. Absolutely ridiculous. And even when they are hit theres no dismemberment!

    I hear ya. I had to restrain myself. Im sure we could all write a 500 page guide and send it to Ubi on how to make a good GR game!

    Im gonna sneak in another stupid funny:

    Rebel encampments just a few meters away from an enormous Skell base. The side missions "Steal the truck". First time I did this I was hyped for a long tense drive. Instead it was....just down the road. Bahahaa. And of course the Skell goons "patrolling" dont have a clue.

    The AI is definitely one of the biggest let downs for Breakpoint and even more so seeing as it was one of the biggest requested things players would like to see improved upon by the surveys. Like you I cannot get past the entire lack of reaction time by enemies whenever one of their buddies drops dead. It is infuriatingly boring. Or whenever you come across an enemy actively trying to scan a wall after a fight breaks out that you are able to walk right up to and watch the spectacle repeat itself until you shoot the bot. It is complete garbage.

    However, I would also point out the shooting recoil and ballistic model is equally bad in my opinion. How your character, supposedly the best of the army, can lose control of an automatic 5.56 rifle to where it feels more like he is trying to manhandle a firehose is beyond me. Or how I watched a friend angle his rifle up at least 30 degrees to where it appeared he may have been shooting at a bird only to witness the bullet plunge to the ground only 300 meters away is equally garbage.

    So much is wrong and lackluster in this game beyond just the terrible AI that I very rarely play it more than once every couple of months or more. My only hope is that the next Ghost Recon is more of a reboot and drops all of the poor decisions that have led it to being such a mediocre and hollow experience.

    You mean Breakpoint, their latest TC/GR title based and focused on a Tactical Military Squad shooter is lacking in the AI dept.? Ok, ok, you are sweating the small stuff for real.

    I mean have you seen how beautiful and gorgeous the world is? have you seen how big it is? the biggest yet they say? Have you tried to walk the whole map and explore it in all its glory? No you say? well, too bad and you are missing out then.

    Have you also seen the amount of Gear you can wear at any time you choose? granted, it is purely cosmetic and it has no function, zero, nada but again, you are sweating the small stuff because you can look L33t and Legit to all your peeps in all your social media circles and I mean, ALL of them and if this is not what this game is all about, well, I don't know what is.

    So again, The shooting and the Teammates and the Enemy is not what this game is all about.

    You forgot to mention they fixed the animal noises. That was soo much ruining the tactical piece for me. I would make deer noises to disguise my movements and the AI would yell "hey deer don't make noise!, We have infiltrators!" Unfortunately now that they fixed it, they shoot at me any way because it is deer season on Auroa...

    I have seen the beautiful world here. If that was my priority, I'd be watching more Bob Ross canvas painting.
