Hello,
Since the last update I noticed sky flickering during the races, mostly blinking clouds which is really annoying when I play.
There is a video I recorded on the first map of the solo summer campaign :

I precise that my GPU is AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Thanks for the help
Hello everyone thank you for posting about this flickering issue and thank you for the helpful video.
Some players may experience issues with graphics after an update to the game, often verifying your game files can help resolve these issues, as it will fix any corrupted or missing files.
Please try the following according to which launcher you use -
Here are some instructions on how to do this in Ubisoft Connect -
https://support.ubisoft.com/en-gb/Article/000060529
Here are some instructions on how to do this in the Epic Games launcher -

Please note this may take several minutes to complete if the game file is particularly big.
Please let us know what happens after running this check and relaunching the game?
Thank you for the update Shadow-TM, in that case, do you remember when the last update was, and did you coincidentally remember also updating your GPU with any new graphics driver updates?
It would be a good step to take to try and uninstall your graphics driver and install a previous month's driver or a few months back, do see if your particular recent graphics driver is having issues running the game.
To try this workaround, to identify if the recent GPU drivers are conflicting with the game -
- Press the Windows key and type Control Panel, then open the tool
- Select the View by Category filter, then select Uninstall a program-
- Scroll down to find NVIDIA/AMD Graphics Driver from the list of software
- Right-click on it and click Uninstall/Change
- Next, download a previous GPU driver from the relevant website according to which GPU you are using -
Nvidia - http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
AMD - https://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Finally, install the alternative GPU driver and restart your PC
I would recommend checking your Nvidia/AMD Control Panel settings and disabling the SSAO Ambient Occlusion, as this has been known to help some players with textures and flickering.
The latest driver's update is 2 months old and the game has always run perfectly fine. It isn't conflicting with the game as far as I saw and going back to an older driver would bring back a couple of errors I encountered on other games that, nowadays, I don't have anymore. I checked for SSAO Ambient Occlusion and I can't find it anywhere in the AMD Control Panel.
Thanks for your answer Milky,
I did the same thing as Shadow, I ran the file verification several times, even uninstalled the game but nothing changed.
I never updated any of my graphic drivers since I got my PC and Trackmania ran perfectly since the update of the 26th of August (the very last update).
I think the issue comes from the update, because the bugs happened right after the game update.
Hey guys!
Thank you for your updates!
Something I'd like to confirm before continuing Steexow.
You noted that your GPU is a Ryzen 5 5600X, as this is actually a CPU may we please know;
- If you have a separate dedicated GPU (likely named Radeon if AMD)
- Are you using your CPU's onboard graphics alone?
Thank you!
Hello,
Yeah, I think I was wrong, my GPU is a Nvidia one (GeForce RTX 3060)...
And no, I think the game uses the graphics from my Nvidia card.
But even tho my GPU isn't an AMD one I don't get why I got these sky flickering issues since the developper's report mentionned an update targeting the AMD GPU.
I noticed that the game seems to be slower, like it is constantly lagging even in solo mode.
I tried to set the minimum graphic settings but it doesn't change that much.
