Dare I risk returning to this game?

Heres a back story about my R6 time. I started playing in Para Bellum, was kinda done in Wind Bastion after having so many spawn peeks and TK abuse.

Then after about a 2 year retirement, I came back in Steel Wave and I thought Id have a ton of fun againI was wrong. The TK toxicity has spread though the game, the casual matchmaking was rigged, putting me up against platinum and diamond when I never play ranked and the KBM console cheating in every single game! Im on Xbox btw. Ive also seen numerous of my mains like Zo overnerfed and IDK who to play anymore.

I dont trust Ubisoft at all. They have literally no anti-cheat! What a joke! Just like Warzone! And they just let it all happen. Every time theyve gotten feedback of the KBM cheaters its the same response with no legit action. If there is some way I can be broken to get back to this, do all you can. But for now, Im not trusting this corrupt Ubisoft!

    Dont play on console...

On PC its fine, yet toxicity is, at least it looks like, feature of multiplayer game. Except that i dont have really problems, but that toxicity is big one. Saddly, thats same in every game

Btw, casual never had skill based mm, as far as i know

Sure, come back. If you want to hate every minute of it, that is. If you like toxic teammates, toxic opponents, people who play like winning a match in R6 is the sole reason they have to live (even in Casual). And if you love something much more stale than sewer water. If you do, be my guest. If not, you're much better off spending your time elsewhere.

Console is an absolute waste of time. People are jailbreaking their consoles and using wallhacks, and it's incredibly common. Nobody is doing anything about it (Sony, Microsoft, Ubisoft, etc.).

There's plenty of cheating in the PC circuits as well. I've never played console, they seem to have it much worse. But it's a problem across the boards, made all the worse by a near-total lack of enforcement. I saw a news report that UBI had sued one (count it - ONE) of the people who had written and was selling the cheat software. And you hear of occasional instances where the Battleye protocols get lucky and temporarily screen out one or two of the hundreds of thousands of fake/smurf accounts.

But the bad still far outweighs the good, in terms of the MP experience in Siege. I'd say the Single player situations and Terrorist Hunt are still fun with teammates. But we hear now that UBI is plotting and scheming to destroy those as well. So - come back to this game at your own risk. It may only serve as a jarring reminder of why you quit in the first place.

Been playing since release, I am done with this game, it's not the game I fell in love with. It f***ing sucks right now, and I would say it died after year 3 at the latest, it is not the game it used to be, I don't know what it is now, but good luck to the next Rainbow Six, because this one aint it anymore. DO NOT BUY, RETURN IMMEDIATELY.

I don't want to discourage you from TRYING. We're just warning you what to expect. It could be that you might like the changes they've been making. But I haven't had 'fun' with Siege for at least 2 years, and late last year I realized it was time to walk away, while I still had some fond memories.

Thats your choice but be prepared to play the game at its worse state in my opinion.
