And since Sony/Microsoft are the ones who should be truly responsible for combatting jailbroken consoles, and all manner of spoofing devices with macros, etc.....companies like Ubisoft refusing to make games for their platform (and thus not make Sony/Microsoft any money)...it would serve them right. Loss of money is the only thing Sony/Microsoft would truly understand....so it's the only way to be heard.
You are forgetting about something, which is what Ubisoft holds at heart. Not selling their (broken) games on console would, first and foremost, mean that THEY lose money. And even if it meant losing as little as 1$, they would not be willing to do it.

I would say you greatly overestimate consoles profits... It obviously comes with some, but just because you play on console doenst mean everybody does. Also console ports comes with great expense and obvisously problems

I would ditch console version to get rid off that "feedback" tied to rigged consoles

I would say that console players are now much, much more than PC players are. Back when the PC was the only platform you could play on, sure, all people were there. Nowadays, especially with the better performing console we are seeing, few things are able to beat the comfort of a controller. And if you would "ditch" consoles, meaning that you think they should not even be a thing... You don't know much about gaming and finances, pal. And I never even said that "everyone plays on console", to begin with. I guess that those who get up with a ***** for "PC master race" tend to see things where there are none.
