Maps to be Removed from Competitive Map Pool
There are a plethora of maps total, and only a few can make competitive, because people like playing them. Conversely, there are two maps that do not make the cut, and one that should not have made the cut in the first place. The two maps are Favela and Skyscraper. Skyscraper has been tolerable because it could be banned, but now with the new Favela rework in competitive, players are forced to ban Favela and have to play Skyscraper. Skyscraper is itself a bad map, featuring soft walls on every part of the map and tons of windows and doorways to get run out on and shot through. Favela was always bad, players constantly blended in with walls, there were also lots of windows and doors. The rework changed nothing and in some ways made it bad. Ubisoft should never have put it in competitive because no one liked the map or the rework in the first place. The R6 community hates Favela and Ubisoft should consider making a whole new map instead of making older ones worse and or making good maps bad. Don't let me start on recoil nerfs because those don't actually change gameplay in the long run.
In conclusion, the least Ubisoft could do is remove Favela from the map pool, if not removing both Favela and Skyscraper. A Skyscraper rework could be plausible, but given the history of reworks, we can't expect much.
