Problems with launching the game correctly.

So I can't seem to launch the game correctly, it only opens the arcade editor and not the main game, Same problems happens for my friend. How do I fix it? Thank you.

Having the same problem with my friend. When launching Far Cry 5 I see the splash-screen for a second and then it closes and Arcade Editor splash-screen opens with its music.

Tried renaming my settings and starting from FarCry5.exe.

I have the Steam version. Tried verifying files - didn't help.

I am currently running the steam version as i bought it on sale recently. Are the rest of you guys on steam?
Even if i go to the steam folder holding the files and run it from FarCry5.exe. Still runs Arcadeeditor64.exe, i have rename arcade editor to .exeold, and it steam thinks it has failed and doesnt run anything and outputs error, but states the error is cannot find arcadeeditor64.exe. So no idea why it is looking for that file other than farcry5.exe.
Ran a file integrity. All fine
I reckon it is something to do with the free weekend coming up?.....

    1. Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FarCry5\bin".
    2. Delete the file "ArcadeEditor64.exe"
    3. Copy the file "FarCry5.exe" to another location. (Desktop, maybe.)
    4. Rename this copy of "FarCry5.exe" to "ArcadeEditor64.exe"

    5. Move this copy, now renamed ArcadeEditor64, into the FarCry5\bin folder.

    6. Finally, open the file named FarCry5.exe in the FarCry5\bin folder.
