It took a while and i was forcing it to finish challanges, but now i like it in terms of fast game or two and then move on (like when im working and so)

The biggest problem which i had was that how its adjusted to Siege mechanics, it felt unbalanced and whacky at start. After developing some know-how and tactics, i dont see it that way

Best, for me, its the environment - i like that graphic and sounds, same as map rework. That does a lot - for example im now in beta of Back 4 Blood which is similiar game to Extraction (so it would be great if somebody invite me into extraction beta to compare those two *wink* *wink*) and it fails to build atmosphere, mostly because its environment was seen so many times, but there are other things too

Of course Containment is just one mode and one map, so it get repetitive, plus variety of tactics are limited due to same characters, but for what it is, its good enough. With extraction it would be diffrent, because that would be payed content
From what i saw containment is a eh game mode thats perfectly fine for a one off event. Not my cup of tea so it is what it is.

Now off topic for the forum as a whole but still relevant to your post, extraction is no where near good enough to justify its price tag. Its a game based on an antiquated and faulty engine and adds nothing really spectacular that justifies a separate game rather than it being a 30 dollar dlc to siege itself. Hell a game that came out something like 8 years ago(CoD ghosts) does what theyre trying to do better with better graphics. As does Earthfall invasion for a crapton cheaper.

    So you did play extraction?

I didnt, so i really cant judge but yes, the price tag seems too high, but again - i didnt play it, so cant say. From what i saw in B4B beta, i would say that environment can do a lot. B4B builds on classic L4D look and scenery and ads just diffrent monsters, guns (but i admint gumplay is very good there) + cards, while it lacks atmosphere and variability of L4D - so evenn as fan of L4D i will probably not pay full price.

Extraction will face similiar problems, but as i said before - the looks of "infections" is currently benefit for me, its just more fresh than town overuned by zombies. Ofcourse it will need to offer more, but again as i see it, it could also benefit from siege concept of gadgets, that kinda adds a lot to variability (judgign base on Siege). Overall for me it looks like Extraction could have some lead (for me), but hard to say until i try it.

Still, that price looks too high, but mayabe im just spoiled - I payed for siege about 8 Euro
