Hello!
My first playthrough i completed Chapter 1 and a bunch of side quests and i only ever used the M4A1 with slight modifications. I just tried a new playthrough with Gear Score turned on. I like how we have the option to wear one set of clothes for its item level and bonuses BUT have a completely different appearance. Would it be possible to have a similar feature, but for weapons?
My suggestion was actually a result of wanting to make gear score mode a bit more realistic. You already have immersive mode and if you want uber realistic guns and gunsmithing, ask Ubisoft to put it there. I've been playing GS mode less than 3 hours and i've already cycled through a dozen or more ASR weapons. My suggested system is a bit of a compromise in that it uses the same appearance system for Gear Score clothing. You get to use the appearance that you want (what the player wants) but you still need to look for upgrades to raise your GS/stats (what Ubisoft wants).Originally Posted by Megalodon26 Go to original post
I completed the game on tiered mode, before immersion mode was even introduced. So I know that you are not forced to keep swapping weapons to keep progressing. Once you have the blueprint for your preferred weapon, you can simply craft a new one whenever you go to a bivouac, since crafted weapons will always match your current GS.
