Obrigado.

Hello,
I was playing and until now my ping was 9ms, now it's about 4 days and my ping is only 120ms. I realized that before the hosted server was sp-leste-1 and gave ping 9ms, now the hosted server moved to southern Brazil and gives ping 120ms. I don't know why, but before I join the game the server is sp-east-1 (ping 9ms) and when I'm playing in a game the server changes to South Brazil (ping 120ms). I would like to know why this is happening.
Thanks.

Hello LogmeGamer, thanks for posting and welcome to the forums.
Your routers IP address may not always be accurate to your exact location and often changes slightly, sometimes because of this you may be connected to a different regional datacentre to the one you usually play on.
This can also happen if you use any VPN software.
If you would like to reconnect to your original data centre on PC, please follow our guide here on how you can set this up manually - https://ubi.li/5aG7a
Sim.
Vai continuar a mesma coisa.
Tem uma outra solução?

Yes. I do this and mine was always set to default and always gave good ping. But now it went up by itself to 120ms, and what I noticed was that on the main screen of the game the Data Center is like sp-east-1 (9 ms), but when I start the game and enter the game it changes to Southern Brazil, increasing my ping to 120ms, when it was supposed to continue in sp-east-1. This has never happened before, now he always redirects to the South of Brazil when entering the match.
If I use the method above, manually, the Data Center that I will have to use closest to me among the options is the South of Brazil, which gives 120ms. So this method is not going to do much good. Will continue the same thing.
Do you have another solution?

Thank you for your update and detailed explanation.
Can I check whether you use a vpn at all?
I would also advise to complete our connection troubleshooting guide to configure your network for the game.
Any trouble just let us know.

How do I check a VPN?
About the connection, it's all set up right. Yesterday I managed to play on the South do Brasil server at 9ms, but today it's back again to 130ms. I do not know what is happening.
also having massive connection issues since 1 week. ping spikes, choke, massive laggs. currently completly unplayable. all players (not the game itself) freezing randomly for 2 sec on spot and then all goes back 2 normal for about 20-30 sec. and then it repeats.
i live in germany, tested this with 3 different pcs in 4 different cities with 4 different providers. (pyur, telekom, o2 which uses old postnet and vodafone), so i dont think its a PC/Router/ISP issue.
looks to me ur servers / network structure is fu**** up again.
Hey Pad.Trick, thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about the issue you've been dealing with.
First and foremost, can I just double-check what is the data center (server) that you're connecting to? Could it be possibly a similar case to OP, where you're being connected elsewhere? If it is the case, please note that you can manually change which server you're connecting to, by following steps outlined here.
Additionally, taking into consideration that you do have a stable connection, there can be some limitations preventing you from establishing the best possible connection to Rainbow 6 Siege servers, therefore did you have connectivity troubleshooting a go?
Let us know and we will take it from there.
