In all honesty, if I had my way, yes. If they want to improve the game, they don’t need Ubisoft fans that tell them what they want to hear, they need GR fans that will say it how it is!

A friend supports you and your ideas. A true friend tells you straight when your ideas suck and you’re making a hash of things, but offers to help you fix it.

Well that was short and disappointing (cue that's what she said joke).Didn't expect much but wow.
Pistol can't be suppressed. Couldn't even recreate the pants to go with it? Or idk... add her iconic braid as a hairstyle?

Ah well, back to playing Rise of the Tomb Raider.

At this stage of the game and from what I have read here, I am hoping that the Owner of Tomb Raider paid UBI $0.50 for it, otherwise they got bamboozled and overpaid.

I am going to hold off until the "Hello Kitty Adventure Island" crossover event comes out.

I don't get it... Why start of this even wasn't announced by the Ubisoft? Why we haven't got full set of Lara Croft items? Why there are still no braid as a haircut option? Why 6B46 looks so strange? What is going on?!

Actually, there were a lot of feedback provided and yet, mostly we are only getting closer to the level of Wildlands. Only closer because campaign in the Wildlands was much better and overall gameplay was more diverse: for example, we could request a reinforcements from locals to attacks cartel.

What is mostly interesting, is the Far Cry 5 is more Ghost Recone game than Breakpoint:
    1. We have clear gold to take down the cult.
    2. We have up to 2 teammates who can not only shoot and man turrets, but also can drive vehicles. Some of them even can provide CAS by flying vehicles. Also, when you sit in the vehicle where is no place for all teammates they won't teleport - they sit in the another vehicle and follow you in the transport column.
    3. Nice set of weapons and its customization.
    4. No tiered loot and enemies. Yes, it appeared in the New Dawn and this addon had bad sales.
    5. Fighters are available so you can use them for bombing enemies and even dogfights in the sky with enemy aircraft.
    6. Minethrowers. Flamethrowers. Molotovs.
    7. Ability to recruit almost any NPC in your team.

And many other interesting features which would have suit any GR game.

Basically, if FC5 had ability to add third NPC so you can go with 4-man squad instead of 3-man, ability to customize teammates and remove forced campaign progression - it would have been already a very good GR game.

That’s really interesting. It supports the theory that the absolute minimum was put into BP. So much more could have been put into it. They just didn’t.

Look, they made so much effort for an event that they didn't even announced.
They messed with the map, added a cave where there wasn't any, they added objects where there wasn't any.
And they are telling me that making decent loadouts for the vest is not possible?
They are telling me that improving the gun handling is not possible?
That they can't make the enemies have a day and night cycle and that they can't upgrade the bases?
That they can't add a couple more small missions in each campaign to make them feel less short and unfulfilling, they don't need to have a lot of dialogs, but add a few more missions to sabotage something or rescue something before going to the final boss of each mission giver
Up to this day the character is still looking down in the 3rd person view when he is aiming down sights, the night vision doesn't even align with where he's aiming, he would literally only view the ground
    Is this for real?
All they had to do was make a mash-up of items from other gear/ figures already in their libraries.
If moders can take several different skins from MW and mash items from them up (when they don't have access to the objects and the skin are solid objects) why can't ubi do the same?
Seen literally a model where people took the Marine raider G3 M81 pants
The ronin belt and plate carrier (that they incremented the loadouts with other things from other skins)
The safariland holster from the Nairobi SAS inspired Otter loadout.
And they made a kickass loadout with this, and you are telling me that ubisoft can't? (Edit this was made for Fallout 4)
    • Take the ronin style belt from Nøkk, with the UBL platform, add a couple other items in it and add to to it and use in place of the current belt?
    • That they can't remove the 4th magazine pouch from the following vests:
JPC, AVS, CPC, Scarab and resize the magazines to the correct size (because they were made smaller to fit those vests)
    • That they can't raise the magazines on the same mentioned vests, because half of it is sitting lower than the plate carrier, which they made this dumb way to not obstruct the patches area.
    • That they can't add a simple radio to the left cummerbund of the vests?
    • That they can't put the grenade pouches in the left cummerbund, next to the radio?
    • that they can't add an strobe and counter weight to the helmets?

Making a correct looking, kickass operator, that would encourage me to buy more items to make he look even better is impossible/not worth it
But making drastic changes to the scenario, for an small event that they didn't even had the courage to anounce is do able?
    W T F?
This seriously gotta be a serious case of super low IQ or serious mental health issues.

This may sound rude, but who told you that the things you quoted can't be done? I don't remember any post made or annoucement having for subject "what the devs can't do". I guess we are speculating on what they can't do, personnally I have a tendency to think that they just don't want do it.

Otherwise, I truly and deeply share your frustration and it makes me seriously wonder what's going to happen next.

We don't have any serious exchange with Ubisoft, a part the sudden appearence of a new Community Developper (who came by, said hello and we never heard from him again) and a French Community Manager, 3 days ago, if that even qualifies as an exchange.

The Tomb Raider event is in my opinion, to this day, certainly the worst addition. Maybe not from a technical point, but the one that gave us the less "content", if it qualifies as so, which I'm not even sure out it.

-It could have been the opportunity to explain who were the first inhabitants of the island (because apparently there was people on that island before the New Zelanders).
-It could have been interesting to explain that the Amber sky gaz (which I don't remember if it chemical of biological) find it's source on the island as its components can't be found anywhere else.
-the occasion to introduce a splinter faction of Wolves or Sentinel that firmly believe that the "ancients" had something important, even if only a treasure.

I don't know, something that makes the event related to the Ghost Recon universe. Just a hand written message for Nomad (how in hell, did she knew that Nomad would be sent there in the first place?), 3 distant locations to get 3 stones to get a top, a pistol and a pair of sunglasses. How does that represent an operational or tactical opportunity?

All this, makes me seriously question the abilities of the dev team as a all. They don't seem to think that much about what they're implementing lately.

I remember when I did a post around a month to a couple of months ago saying that the cosmetic changes we requested were easy and they were on the moder level and that my team on arma 3 had already done far more complicated things than a simple loadout rearrangement with the assets library, only to have 3 or 4 people telling me that I have no clue to what I'm talking about and that it is not possible to do, because it is hard and you can't simply alter an already done model like that (One was even a prolific member here).
So this is why I state the things I do in my posts, I'm always picking with the people that come and criticized my posts saying I'm unreasonable.

The funny thing is.. I posted almost the same thing but shorter on Reddit a while ago explaining how GR could take Far Cry 5 as an examples on how things should be done, but I was downvoted lol
Anyway the reason I love FC5 is exactly that, variety of gameplay, openworld, great guns and customization and a clear story
