Daz Biography:
BACKGROUND
Quote : “Built to last” or “come and ‘ave a go then”
Moulded by the streets of Greater Manchester is what gives Daz his edge, a sharp mind and bold confidence. His quick thinking earned him respect within his gang, and later, the attention of Rainbow operative Sledge during a high value bank heist. Potential was seen in the young lad and was invited to join team Rainbow, which he quickly accepted in lieu of avoiding jail time. Being given an opportunity to hone his skills and adopt new ones, Lomax accepted, and now works hard to stay out of jail.

Psychological Report:
I have seen how an operative’s country and past can shape them, their beliefs and morals, but with Specialist Darren “Daz” Lomax, this has been twisted to fit the rough and cold streets of Manchester.
Known to the police for a while after being detained previously for a series of lesser crimes. Attention towards his hijinks soon increased when cash machines were found, dislodge from walls with its safe door burst off its hinges and money stolen.
Daz’s activities came to an end when he and his gang attempted to rob a bank, which ended up being unsuccessful due to the interference of Specialist Sledge, who was called in to deal with a sudden concrete wall that proved difficult to destroy.
After a brief skirmish between Daz’s gang, Sledge, and the other officers, Daz was eventually detained and placed into police custody, where we provided Daz with an ultimatum; Spend out his many sentences in jail or work for Rainbow as an operative.
At first glance Operative Darren “Daz” Lomax doesn’t fit the usual profile suitable for an operator; he’s arrogant, standoffish and brazen. This paired with his lack of any combat experience outside of his shady past makes him an unlikely choice.
Due to his background, Lomax attempts to “square up” with any operators larger than him, trying to initiate a fight. Most of his attempts are unsuccessful, resulting in Lomax belittling and insulting them. His arrogance giving him a sense of cockiness and a “better then you” attitude. However, when his efforts do prove to be effective in initiating a fight it usually lasts no longer than a few seconds before other operators intervene or Daz loses the fight.
He’s very boastful about his previous feats, sometimes even at a detriment to himself and any hope of decreasing his service time. Going into detail about how he initially conceived his innovative gadget on the fly to how he and his gang pulled off some of the most highly skilled robberies in Manchester, with glee on his face. However, Daz is far less eager to talk about his upbringing, but what I can infer is that he didn’t get all too much attention at home, causing him to seek it elsewhere, while just about getting through school and managing to get a B-TEC in bricklaying.

Incidence Reports

Incidence Report #1:
Upon first entering rainbow headquarters and meeting some of his new teammates Lomax spots operators Kaid and Maestro, upon seeing him Lomax begins hurling insults and slurs at Kaid calling him “old geezer”, among other things.
Kaid replied to such remarks by walking over to Lomax, to accentuate his height, and to “choose his next words wisely”, to which Lomax held his arms up by his sides and said “come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough” and “you git”
A fight shortly ensued with it ending after 30 seconds due to intervention from other operators. When questioned on why he started the fight Lomax said “Gotta prove myself innit? Don't want them old gits lookin' down on me.”

Incidence Report #2:
After a training session coffee had reportedly been tipped over Dokkaebi’s computer and tablet. When checking over recordings of the locker room it was discovered that Daz was responsible. After a few rude words were traded Daz reluctantly apologised and Dokkaebi left unsatisfied.
Incident Report #3

After England lost a football match an encounter between Clash and Daz occurred, to which, Daz paid no attention to and continued to destroy police vehicles and assault the opposing teams’ fans. Clash soon detained Daz after a swift knock to the head with a police baton. After being released back into Rainbow custody he said he was “pissed that a **** team won and not England”

Training
Daz has no applicable training or experience that could possibly help him in the field, other then what he says is “brilliant driving while drinking” and “a crack shot with an air gun” which I don’t believe for a second.

NOTES
Device: High Volume Cement Foam (HVCF) Sprayer
Operator: Darren “Daz” Lomax
Evaluation Lead: Dr Elena “Mira” Alvarez, Director of R&D with Darren “ Daz” Lomax.
Superficially, the sprayer is no different to that found on any construction site capable of holding 30 liters of the chemical agent. Other than a modified nozzle, an increased PSI so high it was close to bursting and a suspicious scratch mark where the companies name used to be.
For someone who only has a B-TEC in bricklaying he has surprising knowledge about chemical binding agents. Internally however many changes have been made. The agents originally used within the Sprayer have been swapped out for a mixture of CLC, Polyurea and Polyurethane, a fine gravel and other catalysts that increase the binding capabilities and structural capabilities of the Foam. Expanding x10 its initial volume within seconds.
In terms of strength, its almost as sturdy as a standard concrete wall, however uneven spraying could cause inconsistencies in integrity but on average can survive multiple bombardments from Specialist Sledge’s hammer and two impacts from explosive devices.
Gadget Design

- Stainless steel cannister with engraved information on its side; including volume, storage conditions and a scratched out serial number
- On its front, the sticker partially removed, making company/construction site owners name hidden. The whole can is chipped and dented from reckless storage.
- Cannister rests off centre to the right on his back due to the presence of a small backpack, similar to Miras back looks except with a larger and taller canister. The nozzle is attached to the tank via a clip
