    Kyoshin needs to be tweaked

    Dont get me wrong kit is amazing but he needs HUGE BUFFS, and faster animations for a few attacks , and im scared Ubi wont do anything about it ,so far all newly released heroes were busted and now thats a Samurai he is weak, also if he doesnt get tweaked he will always be a F or low D Tier Heroat max in the longrun since some animations are waaaay too Crooked and slow and like i stated before he needs a damage buffs

    He needs some form of parry punish. He's called a "Defense Heavy" character but he has no parry punish. He also has no gank protection because if someone hits after his first full block counter attack, then he gets interrupted
    I reallly enjoy him but he feels really slow and weak, the full guard is so bad for damage. 4 hits to get 20 dmg. Don't get me wrong it looks good but functionally it's terrible. And the unblockable is just useless half the time because it just gets interrupted.

    EDIT:

    - By playing him further i noticed that his Stamina is quite low , he is able to put out a lot of attacks, but with that Damage/Stamina Ratio, its just not efficient enough to be considered balanced

    - Another thing is that people can forward dodge into your kick , knocking you back and basically denying you the follow up , Kick is also Easily dodgeable and leaves you exposed because of the
    bad recovery

    - Hitboxes feel like they are getting worse and worse the more i play.

    - Some attacks only do damage after the whole animation is done even tho the sword already hit the enemy

    - Some Slashes go through for only a portion of the way the blade travels... and not the whole way , meaning that unless the enemies that are next to you are really close , you wont be able to external hit them, Ive experienced Gryphon also doing external damage with each of his attacks (except Top Attacks Obviously) so i think this might be a hitbox issue tied to the blade hitbox, what makes me think that is freezes video, where at some point he adresses the hitbox issues and you can se on the video that the blade goes through the enemy but does no damage (not sure if its just a for honor thing or if other characters also have that issue)

    - Something that would be nice , is if he gets Some Hyperarmor on some attacks , doesnt have to be all of them , only some

    - and a slight health tweak would be nice too , maybe like 5 or 10 HP more (and the Tough as nails Feat could be removed , depending on how much the health will be tweaked

    A hero is weak / strong, and someone can't win with him... It's completely two different things.

    I still don't know enough about the new hero to make assessments.
    But one thing I can say, his HP does not allow much margin for error. But his Full Stance is fast and playable.
    And in Team Fights he has the HeadHunter Perk which extends his HP a little.

    I still think it's early for declarations like that. Let's wait a little longer.

    It is too early to make such statements, we should wait at least a week, before deciding if he needs a nerf or buff, so that players have learned his kit of moves as well as possible.

    Normally i'd agree but there are some glaring flaws/problems in his kit that shouldn't be an issue at this point. Firstly his bash forces himself and his opponent too far away from each other if the other person makes some kind of forward movement. This was a bug found in early access that made it though. Secondly he's capable of stuffing GB attempts to his stance on reaction by tossing his stance light on GB indicator. Thirdly his top heavy unblockable stance can be early back dodged on a single timing to avoid both committing to and feinting to GB.


    On top of that we have some very questionable numbers. His chain link times are abusrdly slow at 367ms. His time to fast flow into his stance from anything but blocking is 567ms which is far slower than any other FB stance. his time to enter said stance to SB is 200ms so he cant stuff hitstun lik aramusha can. He consumes waaaaaaay too much stamina. Effectively paying 2 heavies worth of stamina just for 1 heavies worth of damage.
    For whatever reason you can get a reactionary GB for dodging both his dash bash as well as his chain bash even from light hitstun. His hitboxes are embarassingly bad.


    I can continue to make complaints of course but no one in their well informed minds can look at current hero's release and say we need to wait and see. There's a lot of no brainer adjustments that can be made before we look at some of the other issues that would actually need some discussing to talk about. And complaining about these issues right now is exactly what we need to do since the devs might actually adjust him a bit when early access period is over next week.

    What I noticed is that his light finisher deals 16 DMG, which is way too high. That light finisher is used in the same mix-up what BP has, however this attack is undodgeable and deals 16 DMG while BP's light finisher is just a regular light attack dealing 14.

    I think that apart from buffing his chain link speeds, recovery times and hit-boxes (which are needed) the devs should also take a look at his light finisher.

    Here are my suggestions:

    Light finisher damage is reduced to 14, alongside with the guaranteed combo light after a successful bash (it deals 15 DMG).
    OR
    Light finisher speed is increased to 600ms.

    Also, whit two Kyoshins it is possible to infinitely pin down an enemy with Fujin Cuts if the Kyoshins don't mess up the timing. There are only two solutions for this problem: either change Fujin Cuts considerably, which I don't see coming, or introduce single pick in team based modes.

    Cant see them adding single pick either unless they make add ranked team modes. They will likely change/adjust the fujin cuts if its a problem. increase the revenge gain maybe? idk

    The amount of time between his attacks needs to be decreased. Even his most basic attack chains can easily be dodged, countered, parried, etc.

    He sucks at defender breach when it comes to the pikemen since he can’t finish a chain quick enough.

    I agree his kit needs to be buffed, he needs to be able to get into his pull back easier and some of his attacks are very slow compared to almost every character, and at other times it feels as if his speed changes, then some of his moves glitch and it won't let me dodge or get ready to block, so then he gets demolished by whoever's in front of him by an endless combo.. I Love his playstyle and would like to main him but atm it's very frustrating because this is the first character I've experienced having moves that won't work at times or moves seem slower at times.

    Sureee faster more dmg and wings plx then i will be happy and delete this game... plx fo that ubi... i buy this game on premiere. Now i wonder who destroy this game... new bf and cya
