    Dealing with a hpoeless Ubi-Soft support???

    I am STILL unable to plat the Settlers 7. Most of the Maps in Map Forge are locked because the DLC that I bought AND PAID FOR is unavailable due to server issues?? Are you going to (a) Fix it
    or (b) give me my money back as I can no longer play the game I paid for.

    Thanks for absolutely nothing. I CANNOT play skirmish missions because that feature is UNAVAILABLE IN OFFLINE MODE. It is one of those features UBI block , nor do I have any of my "Unlocked " Rewards available. I can play a mission, just one, then it locks up looking for the server. It also becomes unplayable when it tries to access the online server for saved games, and trying to load "Medals" If it can't access the server the screen freezes, sometime this happens Every time I use a trading post. You need to FIX THIS NOW. as, basically, you are talking rubbish if you say the game can be played offline.

    As informed previously, the online services for The Settlers 7 has been discontinued. However, you should be able to play in offline mode and access solo features for the game. Connectivity troubleshooting in this case would not help as the online services have retired.

    I was able to add images using Google Chrome. It seems nothing about Ubi is simple or uncomplicated.

    I read those articles and set port forwarding, cleared DNS etc and STILL cannot play the Settlers 7. I cannot take ingame screen shots but havetaken 2 images of my screen I have tried to attach images (jpg) to this document but it won't do it

    I am sorry you are not able to play The Settlers 7. I want to apologize, I am having a difficult time understanding what kind of connection error you are having.

    I understand that Settlers 7 has retired online, but should be able to play offline.

    If you are getting any error messages, or codes will you be able to provide a screenshot?

    It seems that I am unable to again connect and play my The Settlers 7, contrary to your previous communications. As this is a game for which I paid good money for I want to be able access it and play when I choose. Please fix this.

    THE RESPONSE YOU GAVE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING ON MY PROBLEM. I have The Settlers 7. I am unable to access all my rewards. In
    what universe does a Browser have ANYTHING to do with this game??? The very least you people could do is READ a request for help accurately.

    I have been unable to acess my The Settlers 7 game. I have recently regained access and find the Enormous Advantage, Castle Accessories and Crushed Mirror Map are Locked, and I cannot use them, despite owning them. The game says to open Ubiclub to access them but this only gives me a blank screen.

    According to the Steam Forums:-
    The game is no longer playable as, even if it does start, most of the skirmish maps (single player) are now locked and the status is always offline ingame. If you are still having issues, there is a class action law suit against Ubisoft about to be filed for this very issue with several games.

    Interesting if this goes through. That would mean my old games from Windows 95 or 98 days should also be playable on Windows 10 and 11 after all this time, and support for the games have been ended years ago?

    I think this is the reason they made the S7 History edition. They updated/fixed some code, so it actually works. Yes, you "buy it again", but that's a little price to pay to get up and running. It's also often on sale..

    Until they do the same with that, as they have for so many other games. The problem is with the DRM that requires server access to play. And the HE Settlers 7 still has that DRM

    Under the Australian Consumer Law, If you have a major problem with a service or a minor problem that can't be fixed within a reasonable time you have the right to cancel a service contract, when it is:

    provided with an unacceptable level of care and skill
    unfit for the purpose you asked for
    not delivered within a reasonable time when there is no agreed end date.

    Suppliers should give any refunds in the same form as your original payment.

    You can also ask for compensation for damages or loss caused by the problem.
    Most countries have similar Consumer Laws. These laws DO not require a consumer to repurchase a re-badged product that replaces a product that the supplier has deliberately made faulty to achieve more sales. In most countries that is called fraud or at the very least dishonest.
