Silent Hunter 5 will only run if I use "test compatibility" mode
Since tech support wants to always blame our system for issues, does anyone have any suggestions on getting this program to run on a modern pc?
Seems the software doesn't care for a RTX 2070 and wants to run in a small window unless I go to properties on SH5.exe and run test in compatibility tab. And so help me if you script reading Techs suggest running in clean boot I will F#$$ing cancel my ubisoft + account. The support team obviously isn't allowed to think for themselves and find a real solution to the issue. FYI I have had no problems running games on my laptop that were made for win 95. I am not computer illiterate and have tried everything to troubleshoot this issue. And NO, I am not reinstalling my OS for crying out loud.

Found a fix on my own. Changed compatibility settings to Windows 7 and unchecked high dpi override. Working fine now without "reinstalling OS"
