Why am I saying this? I honestly feel that the MP5SD is quite op already. It has a damage of 30, a fire rate of 800 and capacity of 30 bullets. Honestly, every time I use echo, I almost feel bad when I use the acog because of how fast it kills players. Another reason why the acog should be removed is because if you are using a slow firing weapon (such as the 6P41 lmg) the MP5SD seems to win nearly all the time because of it's higher fire rate. Lastly I have been testing the weapon and I still think it's really good without the acog, which is why it should be removed.
Echo doesn't have ACOG anymore, you're confusing the 1.5x scope with the ACOG.
ACOG is 2.5x
And that's where you're wrong, because Echo is meant to literally stay on site, utilize his Yokai drones and hold angles with the MP5SD to prevent the attacking team from entering the site and prevent attackers from deploying the defuser.
In no way is Echo as OP rn as he was before his ACOG was removed in Y5S3
Actually both the 1.5X scope and the 2.5X scope are both categorized under the "acog" name. Also, I'm sorry I don't mean to start an argument and I respect your view, but I disagree with he 1.5X scope for "holding angles" because anchors should be on the objective site and this is usually close quarters combat The MP5SD is still really good without the acog, because it has a rather high rate of fire, which can make up for the lack of longer distance sights. Echo having the acog also increases the chances of being spawn peeked by this operator (which as occurred multiple times to me and my friends when we play).
Fire rate, damage, dps and capacity are all below average for smgs. Long range damage is one of the lowest. The gun cant take muzzle attachments due to the supressor which doesnt work (since there are still tracers and its as loud as some unsupressed guns ). Lastly Echo is a 3 armour with an almost useless gadget. There is no reason to nerf this gun.

Plus, according to the charts, Echo is an average performing and an under picked operator, why nerf an operator who is low in regard to pick with an average performance, it doesn't make sense
I'm sorry to say it but you must just be unlucky or in lower ranks with low ELO in order to come across people who are spawn peeking with Echo, no offense. Echo is an anchor operator, he's not meant to roam. If you're playing against people who are roaming with him then they obviously are low ELO and low ranked players who don't know how to use Echo properly, but it's also the fact that you're being successfully spawn peeked by these players that leads me to believe that you're in low ELO too, again no offense. A roaming Echo player does not know what they're doing and will be the easiest of all players to eliminate in a round and in the match, they are not that hard to take out, it's only the people who properly use Echo and anchor with him that have to worry about!
And no, the 1.5x scope is not considered a ACOG at all by any means, it is still developed by the same company, Trigicon, but it is not the same scope nor classified as the same scope! In fact, IRL the 1.5x scope actually has a 2.5x zoom on it and the ACOG has a 4.0x zoom IRL, but for Siege they had to limit the zooms to a smaller zoom to make the Scopes usable to players
Not only that but Echo is meant to hold angles on the site, complaining about him holding angles on site is dumb because he literally meant to stay on site!
And why complain about his gun when it is nowhere near overpowered? There are literally other operators with guns that have access to the 1.5x scope and do much more damage than Echo's MP5SD, which only makes your argument invalid

I don't meant to sound like an a** but I literally searched up SPACEMAN20290's stats on the tracker, and it was like I had suspected already, he's a low level player new to PC Siege, the man is playing with other noobie players that don't know how to properly play as Echo! Echo is not overpowered, nor are his weapons and gadget, he's literally balanced in the best ways possible, and not only that, but I've said it before, why are complaining about a weapon that only does 30 points of damage and had a rate of fire of 800rpm? There are literally other guns on the defender side that do more damage and have an equivalent or a higher rate of fire than Echo's MP5SD, and have access to the 1.5x scope. If you have to, watch a video by a YouTuber by the name of Gregore and watch his videos that explains every operator and how they're meant to be played!
