More tests are coming soon, so be sure to register no matter where you play.
No but you can change your platform if you've made a mistake or no longer have that platform, you'll need to navigate back to the playxDefiant website and it'll give you the option to switch. However, you can't select multiple platforms.Originally Posted by Blazen4daze420 Go to original post
Personnaly I have no hype for this game and it's an insult to the Tom Clancy Brand !
When is Ubi gonna listen, I repeat, when is Ubi gonna LISTEN to the fans and stop doing mistakes over and over again with their franchises !!!
Give us a serious game in the TC universe and that crap TC in wonderland that no one asked for !!!
Overwatch and COD meets The Division 1 and 2 ... What's not to like!
I am excited to see it in action.
To all the Nay Sayers and Tom Clancy Brand!! guys.
I've been gaming since Pong, Atari and Intelevision consoles... and the first Wolfenstiens.... on computer, and YES I AM THAT OLD.
Tom Clancy turned base games and strategy was great back in the day, but move on try something new or just don't say anything at all.
Branch out a little with an open mind, you might even have some fun!![]()
So I am also a bit hyped, but I am also so disappointed at the user base here.
I am also old school, but the "strategy based" TC games are a thing of the past, and I was not a fan of them anyway because in the end all you ever needed to do was just go stealthy and quiet; mission accomplished. There was no need for AI teammates, or command interfaces, they never did anything when I could do it all myself with a silenced sniper rifle from long range and a silenced pistol up close. They were fun at the time, but let's grow up and move on and stop being so demanding and negative.
Now i have not played xDefiant yet, but I am seriously hoping that his is literally just Ghost Recon: Phantoms (formerly Ghost Recon: Online) with a reskin and some skill tweaks. As far as third person shooters go, GR:P was the absolute best. I thought and hoped that The Division would be a lager scale version of GR:P, but sadly it was not, they used GR:P as a seed funding project to finance the development of The Division, and then took the mechanics and playstyle from GR:P and messed them all up, and I was so disappointed with how The Division played... it tried to feel like GR:P, but it was just off.
So I am hoping that this plays more like GR:P with similar character movement, camera movement, animations, playstyle, skills, teamwork, abilities, ect. I like the idea. Fast paced, quick in an out matches. there doesn't need to be a huge backstory or a reason for why the events are happening they way they are. It's all just a fictional setting anyway. The core is the gameplay and the ability for it to played long term with meaningful engagements that have the potential for some intense back and forth action. That is what I want to see and experience, time will tell if this game achieves that.
