Hello I am here today to share three new gamemode ideas I had. I put them in an Excel Spreadsheet for better viewing. I highly suggest you look at that instead of this Forum post's version.

List of Potential Gamemodes:
For Honor has only a handful of gamemodes that actually survive in the current state of the game. Those would be mainly Dominion and Breach, with Duels sometimes thrown in the mix. However, beyond those modes are nearly dead servers wherever you can look, so I decided to make 3 new gamemodes to perhaps solve the issue of singularity in For Honor, and give it the sort of 'biodiversity' the game needs to stay healthy and strong up until the game's eventual end of support.
Gamemode 1: SMALL BATTLE
- Deathmatch and Dominion maps
Small Battle is an offshoot of Skirmish, but it learns from the mistakes of Skirm and tries to eliminate the snowball-effect the latter gamemode entails
Objective:. Reach 1000 points, and kill the enemy team when in Breaking
Commanders and minions will roam the battlefield, and will engage in quick hit-and-run attacks. The players will do the same. Meanwhile archers will dot the map, and a roaming Capture Zone is located in the map, and will change areas as it progresses.
Gives Points:
Player Kill = 50 Captains Kill = 25 Minion Kill = 10 Archer Kill = 10 Capture Point = 100
Retracts Enemy Points:
Revive = -40 Killing Enemy Captains = -20 Taking Enemy Capture Point = -100
Roaming Capture Point swaps positions every minute, and will randomly go to a preset position.
Gamemode 2: FRONTLINES
- Breach Maps
Inspired from Battlefield 1's gamemode Frontlines, it is a tug-of-war mode where the teams have to capture the designated capture zone before proceeding to the next one.
Objective: Reach the enemy headquarters and drive them out, or have the most zones when time ends.
Captains and minions will rush to the objective, and so will players. There are three zones in each map before the headquarters are reached. The headquarters are a slow-moving capture zone. Whatever the enemy team captured, it stays that captured. Meaning over time a team will slowly gain the advantage in a Headquarter.
Here is perhaps the best one of the bunch...
Gamemode 3: CONQUEST
- Conquest Maps
And again I kindly request for you to look at the Excel Sheet for better information/visuals
Conquest will perhaps be the new staple gamemode of For Honor, perhaps even dominating Dominion. Taking place with 5 zones, 1 big battle, and 12 players, this redefines battle in the lands of Heathmoor.
Zones:
Each zone (besides main battlefield) is 100 points each trying to reach a goal of 2500 points to put the enemy team in breaking. There are 4 types of zones. Minion Spawners, Archer Points,Catapults, and lastly the Main Battle Zone
Minions Spawner:
Spawns captains and minions every so often, who always approach the Main Battlefield to help gain supremacy. Grants 100 points if held, gives +1 every second
Archer Point:
Spawns ~5 archers to rain arrows down onto the main battlefield. They are protected by minions that spawn there. Grants 100 points if held, gives +1 every second
Catapult:
Has ~2 on each zone. They bring boulders down onto the main battlefield. It's protected by minions that spawn there. Grants 100 points if held, gives +1 every second
Main Battle Zone:
A large area of conflict where minions, both captain types, and pikemen spawn on the team's spawn (plus bonus troops from Minions Spawners) fight it out on a massive scale. Archers rain down deadly arrows, and catapults fall down as well. They aim mainly at minions and captains, but be careful you don't get hit yourself. To sway the direction of these projectiles, be sure to capture the zones.
Grants 500 points if 2/3rds or more is your forces, otherwise no one has it.
Minion Kill = 1 point Archer Kill = 2 points Pikemen Kill = 2 points Longsword and Shield Captain Kill = 3 points Player Kill = 5 points
The battle does not rest outside of the zones. You can still find catapults raining down from above and groups of minions fighting eachother as they march to the main battlefield. Be on the lookout. (Side note: it wont be too crowded. Just be aware)
Near the end of the game, an end round music will play, much like the ones seen on Breach.
Overall, this is a huge new addition to For Honor, and could be one of the main selling points of the game itself. Be ready to fight on an ever-expanding battlefield that has been dreamed of since the very conception of this game.
Thank you for reading, again, please look at the Excel Spreadsheet version, as it helps with readability, and has custom visuals to better understand what is being said. Again, you can find the link at the top of the post.
I hope you enjoyed, and I hope these ideas get taken into consideration, as they are not only good for bolstering the game for years to come, but it keeps the competitive and casual sides of the game healthy as well. For Honor has a plethora of potential awesome gamemodes, these were the ones I came up with. Thank you for your time, and I hope you have a good rest of your day!
