    Crash On Launch

    Hey there,

In the last week I can't seem to get Rainbow to start up - it crashes on launch.

    I've tried the following:
    • Update all drivers
    • Roll back windows updates
    • Verify game files in steam
    • Turned off background apps

Please let me know what I can do to help solve the problem!

    SPECS:

    Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19043) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)
    System Manufacturer: ASUS
    Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor (16 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
    Memory: 32768MB RAM
    DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

    Hey there.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this and for the issues experienced.

The first thing I would suggest is to attempt each step suggested here. These steps are known to resolve most of the common causes of crashing/freezing.

If after doing so you're still experiencing issues I'd then recommend opening a support case. You can reach us either through the support website by opening a live chat session or alternatively through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and they will be able to create a support case for you.

After you've opened the case if I can also ask you to attach two system reports to the case that will assist us in identifying any potential cause. The reports we need from you are:

    MSInfo
    DxDiag

    Thanks.
